This is a profesessional husband and wife team. We chose Shuttercraft Chelmsford over other companies in Essex to do our shutters because they are extremely knowledgeable about the product and took the time to explain how they work and answered all our questions. When Raj came over to do the measurements, he really took his time. Their quote was competitive and the shutters arrived and were installed within the estimated time frame. Raj took precise measurements from only one visit and the shutters he installed were spot on - I have a window in my home office where Raj installed shutters and I'm so impressed with how he managed to get the frame of one of the panels to align exactly with the window frame. Beautiful work!! There is generally a long wait for shutters but the ones installed by this company are absolutely stunning. We are so pleased with our decision to get shutters installed and are very happy with the service we received from Raj and Punita. The addition of shutters in our home has made such a huge difference and our family, friends and neighbours have commented on how beautiful and elegant they look. Thank you Raj & Punita for our lovely new shutters!

The shutters are stunning and Raj is a highly skilled fitter .This is a small business (husband and wife) who go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly keeping me informed throughout . I was given a start date and time and Raj turned up 10 minutes early 😎. The product is fantastic and Raj took great care in fitting and demonstrating the product . Raj and Punita were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We originally contact them for a quote at the end of 2024 but weren't in a position to proceed. They didn't hassle us for a decision but when we were ready they responded very quickly and arranged a quick catch up appointment to get everything confirmed. The fitting day went seamlessly and Raj was very efficient and apart from the shutters being visible you wouldn't have known he had been! I would definitely recommend them!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Shuttercraft! From the free home survey and precise measurement to the final installation, everything was absolutely flawless.

Raj did a perfect job with the installation — every detail was spot on, and he left the place spotless afterwards. Punita was incredibly professional and warm throughout the whole process, keeping me informed and making everything so easy and pleasant.

Although the shutters took about 10–12 weeks to arrive (as they’re made in South Africa and need time for shipping), it was well worth the wait — the quality and craftsmanship are outstanding.

If I ever need more shutters in the future, I’ll definitely go straight back to Shuttercraft without a second thought. Highly recommended!
