A great start to using Shurgards Services, Nicola explained the whole process well and was friendly. Recommend using the South Croydon Branch.

Good Business is about Positive Experiences with People - and my experience with Shurgard has been positive due to Outstanding People.

The Staff - Nic and Matthew (South Croydon) - were a pleasure to deal with.

The place itself is neat.

Great, once you understand how the system works it's simples.

This place is a joke!

I was handed my notice to leave the storage unit after Shurgard told me there was food in my unit. Upon further questioning, I asked for evidence of the food found as the branch workers advised the decision would not have been made based off a suspicion. After calling for near enough a week for an update, as the manager was on holiday and the images were in his personal phone, I was then told there was in fact no evidence of food found in my unit. The manager told me point blank “Well we don’t actually need proof, as long as we suspect it, we can do as we wish!”

I then moved my stuff out of storage by the agreed date and had email confirmation to prove so! They have since charged me for the new month even though my contract has been terminated and for a cleaning fee! Luckily I recorded the unit before I left.

How did I come to find out about these additional charges you may ask? A debt collection letter!! Shurguard did not even have the decency to inform me that I had an overdue balance, they just sent me an email thanking me for my custom.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced and will continue to shout it from the roof tops!

**BEWARE**

I was alerted to the fact that the drivers had dumped a mattress without my knowledge or consent by a a member of staff that spoke down on me in an obnoxious manner . Threatening me and insisted on conducting a monologue not allowing me the chance to speak and rectify the situation . It left me upset so thanks for that Shurgaurd

A very welcoming experience by staff member, Matthew. He is polite, accessible, super friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable, and gave best possible options to help me in making decision. He was very patient, answered all my questions and cleared my doubts. He is gem of a person and it is rare in this day and age to get hundred percent Customer Services. Thank you once again and I shall recommend Matthew at South Croydon to anyone and everyone.

Nicola was extremely helpful and polite and answered all our questions.

Rory was really helpful, excellent customer skills and interestingly great marketing skills. I would employ him if I had a company as big as Shurgard.

Really helpful staff. I dealt with Matthew and Rory who presented me with various options, showed me around the units and then made me aware of a special offer on a larger unit that worked out the cheapest. I was advised to reserve the unit otherwise it might get snapped up by someone else which I did.

Very helpful staff. Very easy access, signage could be a little easier.
