The storage seems to work OK other than it's not 24-hour access.
I knew that they closed early, but I wasn't aware that you could only access your unit during office hours.
Even though you have an access app and cctv for security.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Booking process was easy. Overall great experience

We're very helpful,got a unit same day , perfect size for wat I needed. Very clean , , and dry ,rodent free ... very confident my items are well secure, and protected .

I have had a storage unit at the Gillingham site so I could create space indoors to sort my belongings prior to moving home. It was one of my best decisions. The move has taken much longer than I expected but I’ve been able to clear my loft and house without making rash decisions on what to keep and what to donate to charity. The space was perfect, the staff in Gillingham have been most helpful and I would recommend the Gillingham site to anyone who is moving, having work done on their property or just wants to have a good spring cleanup. Found the whole experience ok, the staff are helpful and polite, the building is clean and well lit, no problems at all.

Called twice to find out when this unit closed on new years eve local number went through to head office who assured me they would get the local unit to call me back. Drove all the way to the unit, got there at 3.15pm and they closed at 3pm. Thanks for a wasted journey!

Exceptional customer service from Mel and Beck ! How lucky your company is to have staff of this calibre !. They went above and beyond to help me after a 6 hour journey to the storage unit with my dog , who they looked after , so I could empty my car and the removal van . Many thanks again from Jimmy and myself for all your help yesterday 😊

Terrible service by a very rude representative at Gillingham Medway branch, Was told i should not store items here long term and only use them for short term storage very rude un-professional woman this was witnessed by my wife who was with me at the time she could not believe how we were treated we had our storage unit for over 2 years but are not wanted as a customer of Shurgard...
