At the time when i needed storage quickly shurgard i found what i needed staff was very helpful if in the future i need them again i will use them again

I booked and paid for a storage unit online and received multiple confirmations with access codes the day before my move. When I arrived with my moving company, the gate wouldn’t open.

The next day I found out my booking had been cancelled because I hadn’t sent proof of address – something they only asked for after taking my payment. They never warned me the booking would be cancelled, just blacklisted me instead.

So they:
1. Took my payment before verifying me.
2. Confirmed my access through three different channels.
3. Cancelled everything without notice on the move-in day.

Completely ridiculous. Fix your system before taking people’s money.

Excellent facilities and customer service.
Currently using for house move, would highly recommend.

This is my first time of using storage.

I love the seamless online procedures and the prompt response. However, I was disappointed when I got there and realize that the space assigned to me wasn't spacious enough to accommodate up to half of my load even when I explained to the rep the nature of things I have. This make me seek alternative storage to accommodate other stuff since it was a Saturday night and manager was on ground to assist in reassignment. I ended up spending more than I could've spent in a bigger storage.

Staff were very helpful showing me a number of units before I booked online, price was great compared to others. Site security is excellent with easy access using the app. Packing materials available from reception. Only minor gripe could do with selling bubble wrap as well.

We couldn’t access the unit last night, installed the app as instructed by staff, when visiting the Purley way unit to unload stuff message kept saying ‘see manager’ I will be going there again later today to resolve

Easy access from the mobile app allows you in and out during the day. Trolleys are supplied for your use. Staff are helpful and polite. Building is clean.
