Bijna 50% huurverhoging in 1,5 jaar
We hebben nu in totaal 15 maanden een opslag bij deze Shurgard gehuurd. Sinds we de opslag hebben aangehuurd hebben (los van de 1e maand gratis) al twee disproportionele huur verhogingen gehad. In totaal is het 50% duurder geworden. Het is voor ons natuurlijk heel veel werk en best kostbaar om de boel naar een andere opslag te verhuizen. Shurgard maakt hier misbruik van. Ik vind het Shurgard een onbetrouwbare partij.

Goed
Goed, omdat alles volgens afspraak verliep. Medewerkers heel behulpzaam. Ik zou vijf sterren hebben toegekend als niet, nadat al iemand van Surgard had nagebeld om te vragen of alles goed verlopen was (wat ik waardeerde), ook nog eens een Engels sprekend persoon had opgebeld die mij dezelfde vraag stelde en vervolgens op een vrij dwingende toon vroeg of ik dan maar 5 sterren wilde toekennen. Dat vond ik nogal opdringerig.

Instructie en hulp bij ingebruikneming box
Duidelijke instructies per mail over de huur van een box. Menselijke opvang bij eerste bezoek en begeleiding tot en met de opening van de box. Heel plezierig dat fysiek contact nog mogelijk is. Houden zo!

Helaas veel sores in de operatie
Ik vond de persoon die me hielp aan de ruimte deskundig, prettig en helpvol.
Helaas is laat de opslagruimte zelf nogal wat punten liggen in de operatie (t.w. het rolgordijn was stuk, een tijdlang waren er veel te weinig karretjes, momenteel is er weer een lift die stuk is). Die worden weliswaar allemaal flux geattaqueerd (mijn rolgordijn is nu prima, er zijn nu 4 karretjes en die lift zal het heus ook wel weer gaan doen). Maar het schakelt aan elkaar en men dringt aan op een beoordeling. In het tijdsbestek dat ik heb is dit het resultaat (2,5 ster was beter geweest). Ik blijf hopen op verbetering.

Online een ruimte uitgezocht, via email bevestiging en daarna ook telefonisch bereikbaar voor vragen en heel fijn geholpen. Alles zo geregeld en dezelfde dag nog spullen verhuisd!

All good but very aggressive follow-ups
All good — the service was as expected and the deal itself was fair.
I’m giving 3 stars because the follow-up was far too aggressive. After I filled in the form, I received 6–7 calls plus dozens of emails, both to push me to close the deal and later to request a rating. I kept repeating the same answers, which became frustrating.
My suggestion: please chill a bit with the follow-ups.
