The website is useless
The website is useless. If you shop online you cannot get the seniors discount. The website does not provide a reliable way to determine which locations have the product you are looking for. You need to search for a list of locations near you then call each one to find out if they have the product. This would be acceptable in 1955 but not in 2026.

Nurse practitioner was supposed to do paperwork for my approval for meds through my insurance company. I'm still waiting for that paperwork to be filled out. I submitted it July 4. Nobody picks up the phone. You're left in limbo. No one answers my emails they did at the beginning. It's very frustrating. It's frustrating being overweight and no one caring. I would suggest going to another weight loss program or getting the medication from your doctor. At least when I book an appointment with my doctor I get somewhere. The blood work that shoppers did do was never even sent to my doctor's office. I had to get my doctor's office to go to the clinic to get the information. Very disappointed. I hope this review helps somebody else make a decision. I also hope that they don't treat everyone the way that I was treated.

The female pharmacist and it seems owner of the store is a real nasty piece of work
I had an emergency prescription, from an emergency appointment for my son .
I was late for work and on a parking meter.
She asked for a pharmacist consult which is great with new meds, but then proceeded to grill me about everything - wanted ID, why he's on it, what do I know about the side effects, tell her how he takes it. The point of the consult is to educate the non pharmacist not quick fire Spanish Inquisition the stressed parent.
She was very rude, called me rude, was derogatory about me being busy - well I work !
AVOID this condescending person and her store. Total demeaning experience.

Worst experience
My order was supposed to come with the pouch, which was 45% of the reason I placed the order. I would never have ordered it if I had been told in advance that the pouch would not be included. To make matters worse, when I opened the perfume bottle, there was debris floating inside, so I had to exchange it.
What disappointed me most was the customer service. After all of these issues, I simply asked if I could receive one of the pouches that was available in the store since it was supposed to be included with my original order. Both the online customer service team and the in-store staff refused without offering any reasonable solution or showing any effort to make things right. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience caused by their mistakes, I was left feeling dismissed and undervalued as a customer.
Between receiving a defective product, not getting the promotional item that influenced my purchase, and experiencing such unhelpful customer service, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I expected much better, especially from a company that claims to value its customers.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the manager at the Brockville Shoppers Drug Mart. As a loyal customer for many years, I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect.
I stopped in to ask about arranging a complimentary makeover for a friend of mine. She is attending a wedding this Sunday, which is especially meaningful because it falls on what would have been her late husband's birthday. I wanted to surprise her with something special to help make the day a little brighter.
When I approached the beauty counter, the manager was abrupt and dismissive. She stated, "I'm with another customer right now. It'll be a half hour. What do you want?" I explained the situation and simply asked how much a makeover would cost. Her response, delivered in a firm and unwelcoming tone, was, "It's free, but I would hope you'd at least buy something."
It wasn't the policy that bothered me—I completely understand that purchasing products is encouraged. It was the manager's attitude, lack of warmth, and the way I was spoken to that left me feeling unappreciated as a long-time customer.
Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to reconsider where I shop. I am now seriously considering making Rexall my pharmacy and drugstore of choice going forward.
I cant advice someone to order from here
My review is based entirely on my personal experience. The advertised 24-hour delivery was not honored, and the medication arrived 20 days later. The packaging was also disappointing. Because the medication was urgently needed, I had to source it elsewhere and it was fantastic thank you Robert Gipson . I hope the company improves its service so others don't face the same situation.

I had a difficult time trying to send a parcel and an older woman with gray short hair served me insisting that the postal code to where I was sending the parcel was incorrect. I stood there arguing with her for 15 minutes until some younger girl who knew what she was doing was very helpful and I thank God that she came when she did . This all took place at the lakeshore drive location in North Bay , Ontario. Canada post should watch who they hire or provide proper training to older women
Won't Patronize this Shoppers Anymore
It's ridiculous when the pharmacist can't get to the store on time for it to open!
This is an ongoing issue with the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 658 Erb Street West, Waterloo.
This morning there were five people waiting at the door, again, for the store to open at 8:00 a.m. when the staff once again announced that the pharmacist was not on the property yet and they could not open the store! WTF........ These stores now sell a lot more than just pharmaceuticals, so I don't understand why they can't keep the self checkouts closed, obviously there's no one in the pharmacy that can serve a customer, and if I buy anything over the counter that can't be sold until the pharmacist is on the property then the cashier would be able to let me know because I am not using the self checkout which isn't open yet. (Only open the self checkout when the pharmacist is on the property then)
This has been an ongoing issue for quite a while, and even the pharmacist owner is late on a regular occurrence, but this morning it was a staff pharmacist that hadn't arrived at work on time.
I used to work in retail and staff were expected to be on the property and at their workstation ready to go when the business opened. None of this, "I'll get there when I get there" attitude.
I guess it's hard when the franchise owner sets the standard that being late is acceptable and the customer can wait!
I've seen people waiting at the door leave and go to another Shoppers close by.
I had even considered having my prescriptions filled at this Shoppers because it's close to home but I have them done elsewhere.
Obviously they don't seem too concerned about the business that they are losing.
I think today is the last time I will set foot in this establishment but with all due respect they have some fantastic staff working there. They just don't have good leadership.
Heartbreaking experience
I had a deeply distressing experience at this Keewatin Winnipeg Shoppers pharmacy while caring for my son, who was battling a rare and aggressive cancer.
The pharmacy had previously called me to verify the prescriptions sent from the hospital. Because that verification was already done, I went there and asked if I could wait for the medication. Instead, the pharmacist dismissed me, saying they were “busy” and that the prescriptions still needed to be verified — even though they had already contacted me for that purpose. At a moment when my son was in severe pain, there was no empathy at all.
The next morning, when I returned, two essential medications were missing. One was out of stock, and the other — a critical clot‑prevention medication — had simply not been entered. This made it clear that the “verification” excuse the night before was not sincere. No one informed me of any issues, forcing multiple stressful trips during an already overwhelming and emotional time.
When I asked for dispensing fees to be waived due to their errors, they only waived one and suggested I transfer if I wasn’t happy with their service.
Missing life‑sustaining medications and failing to communicate is dangerous, especially for high‑risk patients. This experience was unprofessional, emotionally painful, and deeply disappointing. I truly hope management improves their processes and shows more compassion toward families going through medical crises.

It took a really really long time for the woman to give the medical advice so I was really disappointed and would never try that😕
Online shopping at Shoppers is the worst
Online shopping at Shoppers is the worst if you expect to use your points. I recently changed my telephone number. It took me over 2 weeks, 6 calls and 6 emails to finally be able to update my telephone number. I even at one point insisted on speaking to a supervisor which also took 5 days. This meant missing out on a special offer to use my point. Trying to deal with any staff over the phone or online is frustrating, aggravating and not worth the headache. Amazon can fill pretty well any order better, faster than Shoppers anytime. Shoppers you have just lost a very loyal customer.
Lousy online service
In person SDM is fine. The online experience is dismal. I cannot stop a medication reminder. I cannot delete a previous pharmacy. I am told to book a second shingrix shot at two months after the first one but they only book a few weeks out. For years, I keep having to ask for a generic version of a medicated cream (the doctor did not say I had to have a non-generic version) as they keep giving me the brand name (so they can charge more). In the store, the people are ok.
I will never return to the shoppers…
I will never return to the shoppers drug Mart at Chiefton Plaza in Squamish BC. The staff are unbelievably rude, including the managers. Multiple visits have included employees laughing and speaking in other languages while refusing to help, and the management shuts and gets aggressive when asked for assistance. Horrible. This has happened on multiple occasions, but the experience today was the final straw.
I had a wonderful experience with Janice
I had a wonderful experience with Janice at the shopper drug mart in Riverbend Square, Edmonton. Janice was very patient and willing to help me while she was supposed to be off. Thank you Janice!

Pharmacy at Chinguaquasy road…
Pharmacy at Chinguaquasy road Sandalwood Branch in Brampton is the worst I ever had to deal with and they are a bunch of rude employees and poor service.
I called today to find out about the statue prescription my doctor has faxed two days ago. On hold for more than 30 minutes , nobody came on line, music on.
Then a one guy answers. Abrupt, rude, No manners, no courtesies, nothing. " Name" I reply with name. " Date of birth"...." What is the prescription?" I say please check, your have it on your system since two days. " Do you have insurance" I say yes, Blue cross. " It is not covered" Fine. What are my options " you have to pay". How much " $250". I ask Are you sure is this exactly $250. " No, $251 for 30 days". I said my prescription should be for 12 weeks, not 30 days please check. Quiet. Then rants " $651", do you want to buy?"
By now I am angry with his short and rude answers. I used an expletive with disgust and hung up.
I discontinue going there ever again, I did use them due to my convenience not for their service. Patronize a small neighborhood pharmacy, these people get one stars from so many for a reason and I am not alone.
Filled a discontinued med on my file
I've expereinced a few negative expereinces lately with Shoppers Drug Mart Millwoods Town Centre. This last expereince has convinced me to switch pharmacies all together. I dropped of two prescriptions to have filled. It was to be billed through a specific claim. When I went to pick it up they did not bill through said claim. The pharmacy was supposed to call the company directly to rectify this. I opted to not pick up the prescriptions, three visits later they still had not rectified the issue. I ended up paying for the prescriptions. A few days later I realized they filled the wrong medication on one of the prescriptions. The drug they filled was from a prescription from last year that was discontinued on my file, and from an entirely different doctor. They only filled one of the two prescriptions I dropped off!
I called and was told to come in and bring the medication and they would refund it. When I went in person I was told they wouldn't refund it because I left the store with the medication. All the medications are in generic names so I didnt catch it at check out.
They did confirm the notes on my file stating the drug was discontinued! Instead of owning the error they doubled down and referred back to "my leaving the store with it" and said they had notes that I called in specidfically asking for that drug!
What if there were contraindications with my current prescriptions and I had ended up taking it? These drugs can have serious consequences and for them to be so glib about the whole incident is appalling. This whole incident has turned me off, and I will not use their pharmacy again.

A month ago I asked the pharmacist for Bill Berry. 1 came in and call back the next week for the second. 3 trips and, OH it’s the morning pharmacist that looks after that. You will have to call back in the morning.
We do our shopping on Thursday - we come from out of town. I left our phone number - they promised to callback. They didn’t.
I cannot reach anyone in New Liskeard, the phone rings endlessly. I have been listening to your message endlessly on the support number- “Your call is very unimportant to us”. 30 minutes now.
Say, Customer is a low priority in-store & head office! Explains a lot.
Not to worry I will be placing this message on many social media site.
Shame really, nice new store, clean, most staff are helpful.
Poorest on line support at Shoppers On line orders
I placed order for 2 Dyson Purifier cool fans on line today around 11am June 27, 2026. I received confirmation email for order placed. I was extremely surprised and disappointed that their system changed my order of 2 Dyson fans to one Dyson and one Shark fan. Spoke with on line associate Maninder . She could not do anything and asked for Manager for help. They are not available. Just ticket was created for formality. No practical help to customer . Staff just answer phone calls as a courtesy.
They should set up good customer care like Best Buy on line order support.
Thanks and regards.

This company is helpful to a point ☝️ icash my cell phones have been stolen more than sufficient times as proof that fraudulent activities surrounding the welfare of myself and my children is avoided by authorities. Bobby Brown reportedly passed because of fraudulent use of my name and belongings as Rights to black men having use of my body for sexual gain and thousands of dollars hand-outs to non-black women putting at risk to die of terminal illnesses and financial hardship. In addition with Rights to my children and their caregiving ending their lives with me is a great loss incurred on-going assaults and assault gang threats. However, icash as written in e-mails sent to your support team my funds are most often compromised every month by drug addicts surrounding my residency and my child who is victimized by same -sex taping. Drug addicts continuously threatened my life on a daily basis, incest related with the criteria in which my family is attacked within dogs and ridiculed for entitled benefits, sex-related threats placement of my children for employment gain and award custody to non-blacks a for sex-exploited employment within Canada and California, and the monetary of gains are sought through my maternal mother, Veronica Johnson. I do show appreciation of your kindness but also sharing with others led to theft of my personal properties and valuables reported to many authorized representatives including the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau's office recieved several including a copy of a $1200 prudent financial loan which was taken out by sex offenders luring through my place of residency, also submitted to the newly enhanced "PM Mark Carney" using cracks & dogs "The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal", California Victim's Compensation Board" and "The Ontario Human Rights Commission".
You been terrific 💯 very helpful to them as well, you can do more for your business by helping to report.
