I do not usually go into cosmetic stores…
I do not usually go into cosmetic type stores/boutiques due to my skin sensitivity. Walking around the Distillery District in Toronto, there is a shop called Bee & Co. The name "BEE" alone sounds like natural cosmetics made with honey, herbs, etc. NOT the case here! First man outside offered a sample in a sachet packet. Then he lured me inside claiming they will apply the sample they gave me on my face and I will see the results instantly. I sat in the chair like you were getting a facial or getting hair styled! A different guy, Lucas, appeared and claimed he was a skin care advisor. NOPE. Very pushy while claiming the wrinkles around my eyes were disappearing instantly! NOPE. It was hard core sales tactics. I was stupid, I should have checked reviews online after he said there is no need to have a return policy because the product works! And like another review mentioned, the sale price was high and then Lucas said he will ask his manager if he can discount the product just for me! SCAM ALERT right there! I spent hundreds of dollars for something I will never use. Buyer's remorse and stupidity. We all have cell phone. I suggest checking all products before purchasing. Furthermore, BEE & CO as a storefront is complicit in this scam. BBB and the Distillery District should investigate this retailer's scam.
