Defective Top- Poor Customer Service
I purchased a shirt that was $70 on March 18. I had an important meeting I was saving this shirt for so I did not wear the shirt until April 8. Mind you, I work in an office building and sat at either my desk all day or a table for the meeting. I had around eight beads/Jewels fall off of the shirt by noon. And found 5 of them scattered on the floor. I contacted Akira 1 day after wearing my top for the FIRST time to see if I could return this, as it was defective. Originally I was told no I was unable to return it at all due to it being worn and out of the 7 day window. I tried to escalate it to a manager, and they told me they would give me a 20% gift card as a store credit to use on my next purchase. That is $14.
I told them how absolutely unreasonable that is, and I would no longer be shopping with AKIRA. I prefer to purchase from companies that work with loyal customers as I have purchased from them 10+ times.
Truly disappointing.

Its was my first time buying from this Company and I didn't really know what my actual size would be. I chose a XL Denim skirt and it fits perfectly and the quality is heavy...which I ❤️ and the shipping was unexpectedly quick. I would like to purchase something again, so I am looking.
