The Astra book is by far the best……
The Astra book is by far the best resource for anyone interested in Blue Water Passagemaking on a MV. The entire process from acquisition, re-fitting, provisioning, planning and execution is very well documented and serves as a wonderful template. We are currently planning a trip to Newfoundland and Labrador and have benefited from reading and taking notes from this book. The owner/Captain of Astra comes from a Professional Mariner background and prepared Astra for its Circumnavigation as such. Thanks for taking the time to document it all.

ASTRA - Wonderful Book
ASTRA: The Southern Capes Circumnavigation is a beautiful book. A must for anyone thinking of embarking on any deep sea voyage, detailing the pros and cons and unexpected. Great photos throughout of the big and the small. The minutae of life at sea is very well captured.
