I ordered it for an 8 year old boy who isn't very keen on reading/books in the hope that he will realise what fun you can have with the written word and cartoons

Noah my grandson finds the stories funny. He likes writing and drawing a comic style page or two himself and the Beano gives him great scope.

I subscribed to the offer £10 for 10 issues of Beano, Sadly I only received 4 issues, 2 of those in December and 2 in the first week of January. I had started the subscription for my grandson, but hate seeing the disappointment when he doesn’t receive his comic.
