I would like to take a moment to share my experience with the Shift Careers team. I’ve used a few resume-writing and career-support services over the years, and the care, consistency and personal attention I’ve received from Shift Careers truly stand out.

A prolonged job search can be disheartening. You know the effort you’re putting in, but progress is slow, and there isn’t always an immediate success to celebrate. In my own search, I’ve seen the same vacancies advertised repeatedly over months, applications go unanswered, and responses arrive only after several follow-ups. Sometimes you’re told another candidate’s skills were more aligned, only to see the same position appear again. You’re left wondering what to make of it.

I’ve heard others say they’ve paused their search because of the stress, and I understand that feeling. There are days when the effort feels considerable and the movement very little.

My search is still ongoing, so I’m not yet writing this from the perspective of having secured a role. Even so, I feel it is important to recognise the quality of support I’ve received along the way. The care, consistency and shared ownership Faye, Bon, Mheanry and Adrian have shown deserve appreciation in their own right. Their thoughtful guidance has helped me gain clarity, consider my decisions more carefully and keep moving forward, even when the outcome is taking longer than I hoped.

Their personal attention goes well beyond what I would expect from a career-support service. Even a simple message asking whether everything is okay because they haven’t heard from me makes a difference. When several things are competing for your attention, that small act matters. Someone has noticed, remembered where you left off and taken the time to check in. It gives you that extra push to make time for the next step.

I’ve been able to speak openly about my circumstances, doubts and decisions. They give me room to explain my thinking without making me feel judged. They also challenge my thinking when needed, explain their reasoning and help me examine possibilities from different angles. Those conversations have helped me recognise strengths I hadn’t fully appreciated and think more carefully about where to focus.

One thing I particularly appreciate is how well the four of them work together. Their coordination is commendable. Due to personal circumstances, I work at unusual hours, and over these months I’ve become familiar with who is available when. Yet I’ve never felt I needed to time a message for one particular person just to be understood. Their responses are quick, and their consistency and continuity are remarkable. Sometimes it feels as though I’m speaking with one person across four shifts - I don’t have to keep repeating my story or explaining my thinking from the beginning.

That has made me feel like a partner in the process. Their patience, thoughtful guidance and willingness to stay alongside me through a difficult period have meant a great deal. I’ve felt supported as an individual, by a team that cares about my progress beyond simply selling a service.

Faye, Bon, Mheanry and Adrian-you are all stars, and I’m grateful for the care and effort each of you has put into supporting me. You deserve recognition for the work you do and the way you treat people. This is what real customer service feels like.

I know the outcome matters, and I’m still working towards the one I’m hoping for. But I’ve also come to appreciate how much the journey-and the people who stand beside you-matter along the way. Thank you for making that difference. ✨✨

excellent platform i have ever used

0 Star - Beware they are fake and showing less amount on payment screen and charging huge amount.
Even they don't refund the money.

I mailed to their support they denied the amount can't be refund back.

On payment screen it was showing only 1909/- Rs and suddenly they processed 3300+ for personal coaching.

Fully fack don't ever purchase.

Great attention to detail that’s leading to a specific plan that will get me a relevant and good paying career.

I'd been seeking new opportunities outside of my current field for some time with no real success. So, when my partner mentioned Shift as something to try, I figured "why not?". I have somewhat of a very unique educational background and skillset and was seeking a role in a new field. The combination of these factors made it difficult for me to find value in the introductory materials provided by Shift. However, the 1-on-1 career coaching sessions were well worth the subscription. Olivia was able to listen to my story, internalize my unique background/experience, and develop a customized approach to successfully finding a new role. I gained a boost of confidence and motivation after each session. The resources and information provided by the coach, consisted of clear instructions on steps to make me stand out as a applicant, from truly important tips and tricks to update my entire LinkedIn profile to templates for drafting cold emails employers to enhance my professional network. If you feel like you're stuck and not making any progress in your career search, give Shift a try. By the way, I landed a new role in less than 3 months after starting my subscription.

Knowledge and professionalism without being distant.

Olivia was very helpful in our coaching sessions and gave helpful and useful feedback that helped me in my interview process. The suggestion she gave with my resume also helped me land move interview.

I have also reviewed the checkout process separately and have concerns about how clearly the additional ₹3,339 charge is disclosed before payment. I have provided supporting screenshots and screen recordings to their team.

I also attempted to use the coaching service, but the scheduled session did not go as expected, despite me being available for the entire scheduled time.

I do not want a replacement coaching session or account credit. I simply want the ₹3,339 refunded to my original payment method.

I hope Shift Careers takes this complaint seriously, reviews its checkout and billing process, and resolves the matter by issuing the refund.

This service is waste of money and time. They will be polite till you pay and later on least bothered about the services never trust

Shift Careers — be very careful before subscribing

I would strongly recommend doing your research before paying for Shift Careers.

I subscribed expecting the platform to provide access to relevant job opportunities and career support. However, after subscribing, I found that there were no meaningful job opportunities available to me that matched what I was looking for.

I also did not meaningfully use the platform. After noticing the charge, I cancelled the subscription promptly and contacted their support team to request a refund.

The charge was approximately ₹10,500, which is a significant amount for me right now as I am currently between jobs. I explained this to their support team and asked them to reconsider the charge given the circumstances.

My request went through multiple people and multiple reviews. I even pointed out that Shift has made refund exceptions in other cases and has previously asked customers to contact them directly regarding their individual circumstances.

Despite all of this, they ultimately refused to refund the money.

What makes this particularly frustrating is that I subscribed because of the impression that the platform could help me find relevant opportunities. After paying, I did not find the value or opportunities I expected, and when I cancelled promptly and asked for my money back, the answer was simply no.

They have offered to let me continue using the platform until September 11, but that doesn’t really address the issue — I don’t want continued access to a service that I don’t find useful. I wanted a refund for a service I did not meaningfully use.

I’m sharing my experience so that anyone considering Shift Careers can look carefully at what they are actually getting before paying, particularly regarding the availability of relevant job opportunities and the refund policy.

I have kept the complete email correspondence, cancellation confirmation, and payment records to substantiate what I’m saying here.

This is my personal experience with Shift Careers, and I’m sharing it so others can make an informed decision.
