We recently got a shed from Sheds Direct Ireland (second purchase from them) & again the service was exceptional.
The guys fitted it on Feb 13th with the heavens open and whilst I suggested some shelter until the rain eased off, they insisted on continuing until the job was done. They just do not stop until the job is done.
Thereafter, I had an issues with the lock needing to be replaced (these things happen) and it was resolved within 5 working days.
The communication was fantastic and I received a phone call to ensure that I was happy with the outcome.
I don't buy sheds that often, however, this is the place to get them from.
From sales to service, this business does it all.

I purchased a steel bicycle shed last October from Sheds Direct Ireland but due to health issues only got around to assembly a couple of weeks ago. The general standard of the shed seemed ok but the frame and structural supports (it's an integrated stressed design) felt rather flimsy during construction. The day after it was completed, we had some fairly strong winds on the East Coast (I'm many miles inland and the shed location was quite sheltered beside the house) that showed up what I would class as a dangerous design flaw. The surface area to weight ratio is completely out of proportion so any strong wind turns this shed into a giant sail. Even if one was to anchor it into concrete with long pins using the four corner cleats, they are so thin that they will likely break quickly. My shed was lifted and slammed against the house causing some house damage but writing the shed off. Only after the storm died down (I had to cover the structure with 3 x 20kg bags of coal on the roof and 3 on the sides and push it tight to the house wall to hold it in place in the meantime, and it still moved crushing itself into the wall further) that I got to examine the structure and realised it isn't safe or fit for purpose, in my opinion. Nearly all the braces were bent/kinked along with some of the sheet steel panels. The screws supplied to fix it all together are of a questionable design and most had pulled loose allowing further flexing to cause more structural damage. Although the wind was strong enough to notice, it wasn't a storm and nothing else loose on the property was moved. My wife and I dismantled the shed yesterday, we'll keep the panels but all the braces and formers are beyond use and will find their way to the recycling center shortly. I haven't contacted Sheds Direct as I doubt any kind of positive response, as in the usual " we haven't had any complaints before" and I'm too old to bothered with that nonsense so I am writing the experience off as an expensive error on my part.

Sheds direct were exceptional the service is outstanding for start to finish from ordering it in the office and the staff there were so helpful .The fitting was excellent. I would definitely recommend this company 👌

I had the pleasure of a young lady louise junior looking after me today. From a customer service point of view she is an asset of signifance to the company. Pleasent, knowledgeable, professional and nothing was a problem to her. Her skillset in dealing with customers was second to none. A diamond in todays sales business. Thank you louise

They arrived on time to my house in ballymahon and the shed was up in less than a hour .Im very happy with the service and the shed quality.

Purchased cottage shed in summer. Lock slipped within days of installation.handyman offered to fix but I did not want anyone to tamper with it in case of warranty issues . Was promised somebody would call when they next had a delivery in my area. Heard nothing. Contacted Louise again yesterday. Different story. Blamed the base not being level. No warranty and email says they have closed my file . Customer Service indeed. Very dissatisfied. Why did they not tell me that when I first brought the matter to their attention? Just saying!! Not a happy customer. Shed taped closed and tied with fabric. Lock not fit for purpose . I could have gone ahead and got the lock fixed if they had not made a promise to me.

I purchased the wood grain metal shed and it was delivered and installed in October 2025. When purchasing the shed we were advised to put down a damp proof sheet for the base. For context, the shed was installed on paving slabs. However, the installers said this was not necessary and would likely cause more damage than good as the air would not circulate properly between the ground and the shed floor. The shed was installed and required a few things to be fixed and which were carried out promptly the following day. One thing I would reconsider when purchasing this type of shed again- having had the shed for a couple of months - the condensation / moisture is quite bad on the inside of the roof to a point that mold is growing on some due to dampness in the shed. On enquiring about this issue we were recommended to insulate the roof by sheds direct.

We bought a mammoth shed back in July and we assembled it ourselves as my husband is a carpenter. We didn’t install the floating floor and we noticed when it rained the rain water flowed down into the track that housed the door which then flowed into the shed floor. We had covered the concrete floor with soft tiling and we didn’t notice water was seeping in until the whole floor was covered with water. So if you have a mammoth shed and a floating floor was installed you may have a puddle underneath your floor which will cause rising damp in the future. We are very unhappy with customer service, parts were sent out weeks after initial complaint to fix said problem but the damage is done. We are now dealing with mould growth on all our belongings and have to dump shelving we bought.

AVOID THIS COMPANY (Update: company response below is full of falsehoods and they have resorted to inventing a storm and doors being left open as the source of the issues. On my Google review I have attached pictures of the shed with screws clearly missing. I have also attached an email which confirms the missing screws as the source of the issue. Very dissapointing that they have resorted to lies by way of damage limitation. Once you review the pics and email you will see what this company is about. I won't bother addressing the rest of the falsehoods as you will get the message. Would also point people to Facebook reviews which show similar issues with this company for many).

I bought a shed in May 2024 and noticed in July 2025 that the shed was getting flooded. It transpired the installer had left numerous screws out which caused the shed to bow and let water in (have pictures). The timber floor in the shed is rotting and there is rust throughout the back panel of the shed. I had contacted the company initially in Nov’24 (within warranty) advising of the shed being wet which I thought was due to condensation but I now realise was due to the poor construction and gaps in the seams. Time went by and I contacted the company again in July 25 and attached pictures of all the gaps where screws had not been put in place. I was advised that even though the warranty had expired by a couple of months they agreed to send someone to fix the shed that had not been installed correctly.

I subsequently spoke with their technician to arrange a date to come and fix the shed. What followed was 3.5 months of promises to come followed by countless no-shows & subsequent ignoring of messages. I contacted the company numerous times during this period and was given assurances both by email and by phone that they would make things right. Due to the bad weather the timber floor of the shed is rotting and there is rust eating the steel. Eventually I got so sick of being given the run-around that I asked management to get involved and after a couple of follow up emails I was advised that if I wanted the technician to call out it would be another 3/4 weeks or else I could pay a fee to get him there sooner (while my shed is being flooded). I was also kindly given the option of putting the screws in myself (I had already advised them in a previous email & call that I had tried fixing it myself but didn’t have the right tools and my drill bits had broken attempting it).

This has been an awful experience and my advice is to avoid this company at all costs. Despite liking the shed initially, the construction is shoddy and the after sale service is non-existent. I have dozens of messages & emails going back and forward with the technician and company since the middle of July which I am more than happy to share with anyone thinking of using this company. I also have photos of the areas where screws have been completely left out (it is obvious from the photos that they were omitted rather than fell out as the steel is not drilled behind the holes), which I would also be happy to share.

I am going to lodge a formal complaint with the CPCC against this company for months of wasting my time and for repeatedly making false promises, which has seen my shed deteriorate from flooding while I wait. Please feel free to contact me with any queries or for any pics.

Highly recommended. They will walk you through everything before you decide on the shed. Glen have been such a great help for me to decide on mine. Price wise is so much better than B&Q for sure..

There were some snags after the install and these were resolved within 24 hours.

Great product and delivery was on time without issue. Sheds Direct own delivery driver was very helpful leaving the heavy packages to one side of our house rather than in the middle of the driveway like some companies. Product was packed very well to prevent any damage. I purchased the Premium 10x8 Shed and I self assembled. Instructions were very good and pictures were clear. A couple of hours with a 2nd person. Highly recommend and I will be purchasing from Sheds Direct again.

I ordered a tipping cart recently and my experience was excellent overall. The item was delivered well within the estimate. Unfortunately, it did have a defect as one of the wheels must have burst during delivery. However, just within a few hours of reporting the issue, they sent me a replacement wheel, including tracking information. No questions asked. Great service and a great product. Thank you!

The branch on the Naas Road is easy to access and beautifully laid out. Aisling was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable offering advice on our options. Delivery and assembly was prompt and efficient with clear communication throughout. We are delighted with our new shed and would 100% recommend Sheds Direct

Visited Sheds Direct on the N7 today for my first time and was highly impressed both by the variety of sheds and by the wonderful stuff. GLENN was who I dealt with and I can honestly say that when shopping, I have very rarely met somebody who was so helpful. He knew his “ products” very well, was patient and gave some excellent advice. He also seemed to genuinely love his job.
I might also mention that I noticed he was very kind to an elderly customer who needed assistance. An excellent employee!

I purchases a small garden trailer in March 2025 from Sheds Direct.i was delighted with the quality and sturdiness but one of the tyres was faulty and kept separating from the rim. It was a nuisance but I managed to keep it working. However, it eventually failed and I rang the company to order a new tyre in September. I was expecting to pay after using it for six months but they told me it was still covered warranty and would forward a new tyre to me FOC. A complete new wheel and tyre arrived two days later by courier. The courtesy and customer care I received was second to none in today's impersonal computer world. Thank you Sheds Direct.
