Absolutely fantastic!!!! The service that Tony and the team provide is second to none. I recently had my machine serviced and I am over the moon, Tony dropped my machine back to my house.

This company are such a refereshing change. The team we met in the shop were knowledgeable, friendly and could not have been more accomodating. We took up at least a couple of hours trying to make our minds up about which 'deal' we wanted to go for but there was no 'hard sell', no pressure to 'make our minds up' They are all very knowledgable which really helped us to understand 'exactly' what we were getting. They even made the dog welcome, honestly, it was such a nice' shopping experience'. If you are in the market for sewing related 'stuff' youve got to check them out.

Since my original post, Tony at Sewing Machines UK has made every effort to make contact with me to sort out the issue and we are satisfied that my machine was returned several weeks to the shop. Whilst he has apologised on their behalf, I do feel it was not their error but an admin issue at the shop.

I am happy to be reunited with my machine and thanks to Tony for reassuring me and sorting out the issue for me.

I wanted a heavy duty machine, the 4423 is good,even though I have broken so many needles.
I purchased this one on the promises it would handle thick fabrics or leatherette. On this challenge I would of perfered extra stability,as the machine moves while sewing on the surface .
On a whole all the trimmings and add-ons was a great bonus,eg spear foots & especially the mini Ironing board.
The real test of a good heavy duty machine, is how it handles use of various foots and button holes on thick fabrics .So far low pile coats are great for the task on the 4423.
I wish the selection of foot package was label, as I am unsure about a few of them.
I may have to research others machines as this model hasn't got enough options on stitches or embroidery features.
I am happy with Singer Machines.

I learnt to use my grandmother's hand Singer in about 1952, and have been sewing on an off ever since. This year I traded in a rather light weight Singer, wanting a really robust machine, and my new Janome is very good indeed.

I recently bought a Janome 3000 Coverpro, fantastic machine can't fault it. Works like a dream straight out the box on thick athletic fabric as well as lightweight underwear fabric - it really is a stress free machine to use. Definitely worth the price, I had a different coverstitch machine (half the price) that was a constant headache to use. I've bought and serviced all my machines with these guys and they never disappoint in service and advice. They needed to order the Coverpro in for me to try out and it arrived within a couple of days. Genuinely lovely retailer.
