Outstanding service

I am so delighted with the cleaning of my carpets by Servicemaster. My carpets look amazing and Lee who cleaned the carpets was professional and courteous. I highly recommend this company. I also must add that Denise who arranged the booking was also extremely helpful and efficient. Thank you Servicemaster.

DO NOT USE SERVICE MASTER CLEAN

DO NOT USE SERVICEMASTER — My Home Was Damaged, My Family Was Exposed to Chemicals, and Their Staff Lied

I didn’t choose ServiceMaster — my insurance company forced them on me. My kitchen had just been remodeled. After their work, I was left with:
• Damaged cabinetry (chemical spray caused bubbling and peeling)
• Scratched farmhouse sink
• Gouged floors
• Dented refrigerator and broken door seal
• Filthy water leaked onto brand-new rugs

One of their workers dropped a shop vac off a ladder — it bounced and hit my fridge, cabinet, and freezer. He also stood on my granite counters with dirty boots. Then he sprayed chemicals into the ceiling and turned on a commercial fan, blowing toxic mist all over my kitchen.

Me, my son, and our dog got sick. Throat, eyes, and breathing problems for days.

Lacey Seymour, the project manager on-site, later admitted she “didn’t trust” the worker she sent and said, “thank God he didn’t cut your copper pipe.” But when I repeated this later, she denied saying it.
Live video of this conversation as well as all service master employees that entered my home even the day of the damage all recorded live footage.
Then came the emotional harassment from corporate manager Hope Taylor. She emailed me with estimate deadlines of July 3 and July 16, demanding I get professional quotes. I sent her an official $23,000 damage estimate on July 16. Then suddenly, she gave me a new “take-it-or-leave-it” deadline of July 23 — offering only $4,200 for all the damage.

I’m disabled and was overwhelmed. I accepted the $4,200 on July 23 just to be done with it. But she ignored my acceptance and replied with an outdated email from July 3, pretending the deadline had already passed. It was a clear manipulation tactic.

Hope Taylor’s behavior is deceptive and disgraceful. I have every single email to prove it. This company caused damage, ignored the proof, bullied me with false deadlines, and made me chase them down while I was sick and dealing with the mess they left.

If your insurance company tries to assign ServiceMaster — REFUSE. They are unprofessional, careless, and dishonest. Protect your home and your health. I’m speaking from experience, with documentation and footage to back it all up.

Luke, Thanks.

Luke, the cleaner who attended, arrived on time and was soon laying down protective sheets to reach the room carpet to be cleaned . He was pleasant and polite and completed the cleaning to very good standard. There was one particular spot, under a stair lift that was heavily soiled with blood that we had little hope of improvement as it had been there for about a year. This was spot cleaned and now looks like a new carpet. Thanks

EXTREMILY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & RUDE

On my third phone call requesting to speak to the cleaning department I was assured I would be contacted back - STILL WAITING!!!

The third receptionist I spoke to was rude to me and wanted to be difficult. I do not agree with having to give all of my details before you actually enter an agreement - when its an initial enquiry you are making. She said she would note that I have refused to give my house number! Why should I?
What about my data protection!!
Extremely poor customer service and rude.
I do not recommend bothering with this company.
Certainly have wasted my time and turned down any future work!

Poor manger team

All is good after few months, or year. Then client kept complaint to cleaner on site. Yet, I go to work, work hard then other people. No 0 day off sick. Due to client unhappy and problems not solved from manger team. I end up to be in suspended from work. Then I end up resigned that position, staying other job. For me, poor manger team never tried to solve issue for cleaner and clesner got blame for everything. Not fair. After I left that job. I only have worked on for 4 hours. Yet, they never gave me anymore or keep rejected me on indeed. I didn't do anything wrong. For them didn't give me any job I have applied for. Not fair. How they treated cleaner. Rang my team mate when she is off sick and ask her go to work. I thought they treated me badly only, yet they done it to her also. Other 1 have also suspended from work too. They will kick you out too easy, without being any fault of misconduct. Stay away from them.

Useless for communication

I left the company beginning of July, so 6 weeks has passed, still have not received my p45, tried to call,no response,sent endless emails no response,now have sent email to top boss told him to sort it by end of week or i will go to hmrc to deal with them,not a great company to work for,wages always wrong and good luck getting your p45 when you leave.
