Charge you £12 to return the phone after undervaluing it - had my phone valued by another similar fompany eho offered way more but returned the phone. These scammers offered 25% + less and when I refused stated they would charge a fee!
AVOID AND USE A REPUTABLE CONPANY THAT IS HONEST!!

It’s always interesting to be called “scammers” for correctly identifying that a phone contained non-genuine parts, a degraded battery, and was not in the condition originally described.
You also mention another company; as your own review confirms, they reached the same conclusion. Two independent inspections finding the same issues is hardly a coincidence.
The non-genuine parts and battery condition were inspected, verified, and explained, and you accepted the revised offer. The offer was adjusted based on the actual phone received, not the phone described.
As for the £12 return fee, this was not a surprise charge; it is clearly stated in our terms and conditions, which were agreed before sending the device.
We understand a lower valuation can be disappointing, but we can only value the phone we receive, not the one we were expecting.

After receiving my phone they re-valued it at £5! The cost to return it to me was £12. I feel they should have made this cost clear up front.

Our terms and website clearly state that return costs may apply in cases where a device is returned following a revised valuation. All devices are assessed on receipt using a standard inspection process to ensure consistency and fairness.

Exceptional service and very fair pricing
I was really sceptical about selling my iPhone15 because I had been ripped off a couple of years ago by another company. However, Sell Your Gadgets had good reviews for their pricing fairness and how right I was to choose them. They paid the price originally quoted, phoned me to confirm my chosen payment method and the full amount was in my bank 15 minutes after the call. I cannot praise this company too highly for their service, courtesy and honesty.

Was a bit dubious given that all the phone companies knock your quote down once they have your phone & don’t seem trustworthy but I need not have worried. Service was quick & friendly. I didn’t get what was advertised for my phone but expected that given that the battery wouldn’t have been as good given that it was my phone for 3 years but negotiated a good deal. Payment was in my account in minutes. Would definitely use again. Thank you 👍
