Sell This For Me is an unprofessional company.

They are incompetent at identifying and listing your items.

They pay the wrong client and refuse to fix it and they keep items that don’t belong to them - they kept all of my jewelry displays I brought for them to use taking pictures of my jewelry.

I sent this email and was told to do what I have to do!!

Good Morning,

I have been hoping that Mike would have corrected the error in paying the wrong client however it appears that I am not receiving the balance and items I am owed.

Initially, I was told the items didn't exist and then I was told they weren't mine!!

It's very unfortunate that mistakes were made by your team however just because the wrong client was paid doesn't mean you are not responsible for paying the correct person.

I've been extremely sick and in and out of the hospital and am still being tested for colon cancer.

I'm on disability and 95% of what I buy is given away to HELP other people.

I'll await a refund for $2000.00 today.

This amount includes all the items unpaid, and my jewelry displays that were not auctioned or returned.

If not received, I will file a complaint with Ontario Hibid, I will post a complaint anywhere I can. And I will file a lawsuit against Sell This For Me for the amount owing plus damages.

I will also be reaching out to the other seller who I'm sure would not be happy to find out about Her breach of privacy.

Unfortunately, you paying the wrong client is not my error and I have tried desperately to address the issues with Mike and no resolution whatsoever regarding this.

Here is the response I received:

Hello Lori thank you for contacting us

This will be the last email communication about this matter. As stated in the emails above and previous phone call conversations we have paid 100% of your settlement. This has been confirmed by you receiving the settlement reports and accepting the totals via E transfer. We understand that you believe that there are some items outstanding, however our system has them under a different consignor‘s name, when items come into our system they are coded with the consignor name and these items were not yours. our system handles over 80,000 items sold every month as soon as an item comes in for consignment a consignor code is associated with those items. This is a full proof system as each consignor receives their own shelving rack this mitigates any confusion during photography. we photograph one consignor and one shelf at a time this eliminates any confusion between consignor‘s. We understand the confusion the items looked very similar to yours however they were not in the same lot number sequence and not taken from the same shelving units. This is further controlled by the consignment paperwork that is signed by the seller of the items when dropping off, we have the paperwork and signatures to prove these items are not yours.

We understand how easy it would be to confuse items of similar style however this is why we have systems in place to mitigate any confusion. We have been in business for many many years and have never ran into a situation like this due to the systems we have in place we understand unfortunately we cannot do anything further we thank you for your time and understand you must do what you must do.

Our system has closed your ticket complaint and no further email communication will be done at this time.
