My storage experience at Self Storage 1 on Elston St. in Chicago was excellent!
The unit and building were clean and easy to access. The elevators are a bit slow but are very convenient along with the available carts for loading and unloading.
The staff was always friendly and helpful. Ciara was especially helpful with our move out.
Thank you for everything and I would definitely recommend the Self Storage 1 on Elston in Chicago to friends, and I would use them again for any future storage needs.

5-star experience using Self Storage 1. Secure location and easy garage parking to make sure you are safe when loading in/out. My only criticism is the cleanliness, they should spend more time vacuuming and ensuring that the elevator is clean.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Facility is clean. Would highly recommend for anyone in the Southport/Lakeview/Wrigley area to use them!

Great location, nice facility. Tried to set up auto payments but it didn't work the first time - not sure what happened, but the info sheet we faxed in must not have been entered into the system, and they deducted from the wrong bank account the first month. It was fixed by the second month, and all is well. Advice is just to follow up or get written confirmation.

I have had an exceptional experience with this Storage Company
I am in between moves and need to access my unit on a regular basis- I was given a unit right by the outside door
So it makes it very easy for me to come and go

This is a great spot in the neighborhood for storage if you are inbetween buying/selling. They've been extremely easy to work with and I like the online payment feature.

Easy in and Out

Storage facility was clean and there were usually carts available for quick transfer from your car or moving van into the storage space. I found it very easy to move a few items at a time, there was never a long wait for an elevator or cart.

I purposely avoided typical moving days when accessing my unit and it worked great.

We moved from Chicago to Barcelona, Spain for 2.5 years and left all of our belongings in self storage. Thankfully when we came home we found all of our items safe and nothing damaged or tampered with. The climate controlled rooms were safe and secure.

Really Great and convenient! Wonderful people too. Also very reasonable. We only moved in there recently so don't have a lot of experience with them, but I certainly recommend them.
