We took our family of 12 ranging in age from 74 years to 18 months on an 8 day tour of Rome/Forence and Sicily. My wife and I extended our trip 8 days to "Find my roots" in Eastern Sicily.
We started planning 9 months ago with them. They are a group of very professional, organized and pleasant people to deal with. We had tours and experiences for every day and in many cases our group was doing different things on the same day. Not an easy task to pull off but Selected Tours made it all happen without a glitch.
They exceeded our high expectations every day! Words cannot describe how pleased we were with everything. We felt like we were immersed in the culture not just a tourist or observer.
I mentioned to them that for 15 years I've been searching for the family farm where my father grew up in Sicily and they volunteered to put together an extended tour for that. In short, they engaged a person who found the farm in three days including relatives I've never met!!
Ana Serra and her team made this trip of a lifetime an indelible part of our family memories.

Our experience was fantastic and this is the only way we will travel Italy going forward. Selected Tours Italy knew all the hotels and hidden gems that we wanted to see. The absolute must was getting exclusive access to all the sites without waiting inline. That was a vacation saver. All of our personal guides were excellent and we enjoyed visiting with them.

Expertly crafted and executed 2 week travel arrangements ! From the moment we were picked up at Fiumicino Airport attention to detail was at the top of the list, running through private luxury transfers, hotels, tours, expert guides and all of it done with a genuine smile. Italy done with love, passion and style !

We worked with Selected Tours Italy on a two-week vacation in northern Italy. Milan, Alba, Bologna, Modena, Ferrara, Como and Bellagio. We described wanting a balance of tours, experiences and free time. Also that we preferred smaller, boutique hotels. And that we didn't want to rent a car. Everything, and I do mean everything went well and we couldn't have been happier. Guides, cars, and experiences all happened as planned; on time and absolutely fantastic. And the staff stayed in touch and were always a WhatsApp text away. It's rare that a tour company can be so attuned to what a customer is looking for and then create an itinerary that so beautifully matches it. We did things we never would have thought of and went places we never would have considered. All in all, molto molto bene!!

A Perfectly Organised Roman Holiday!
Our trip to Rome with Selected Tours Italy was organised to perfection, everything ran like clockwork. The transport was smooth and reliable, and the hotel was excellent, in a fantastic central location. Our tour guide was outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly, and truly brought the city’s history to life. He made every tour feel extra special. Highly recommended!

Overall, our group of 9 people had an amazing experience. We visited the regions of Abruzzo and Puglia and both are stunningly beautiful. We had an AWESOME "cooking with Nonna" experience in a real trulli house in Alberobello - highly recommend!! We stayed in some beautiful B&Bs (historic homes) and the owners/staff and breakfast spread were amazing in all of them. We saw so many beautiful medieval towns (Matera was jaw-dropping!) and had so many great once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The only thing I'd recommend is to ensure you have a communication plan with your tour agent and private drivers. For example, when we arrived to our initial B&B in L'Aquila it was dark/locked and no one was there. Apparently, our arrival time from the airport was not communicated to the B&B staff (which was a bit frustrating). Also, you should definitely expect to use a translation app to communicate with your private drivers and to ask drivers to communicate daily plans so everyone is on the same page. Other than a few small hiccups, the trip was great. We'd definitely use this group again.

We had an amazing trip. The hotels were beautiful, located in central spots, had delicious breakfast and great AC. The car service was always on time with impeccable service! I recommend them whole heartedly.

Their transportation between cities was extremely helpful, they were always on time and very efficient. It helped save us a lot of stress! The staff at Selected Tours Italy was superb! They gave us great advice in the planning stages of our trip and their execution was impeccable! We would highly recommend this company!

Many factores: the whole team is fantastic and responsive. They listened to our needs and prepared a suitable schedule eg. We asked for guides to focus on overview ( we have a Teenager who is short of attention) and lots of free time for us. We requested an extra day excursión to Florence last minute and got trip done . All drivers are amazing and hotels are satisfactory given we were in small towns . We all had a great trip.

Just back from a fabulous trip to Italy; managed and customized for just the 2 of us by Selected Tours Italy! Thanks to Susanna & her team, we were able to visit a lot of areas in Puglia and ended our trip in Castellabate which was indeed a highlight. The STI team were readily available at any time, but fact is that they have such a great handle on who to use in these areas, we seldom called in. From the drivers, tours & even the cooking class, we truly enjoyed the Italian journey over the past 12 days. A 5 star service with tremendous patience (during planning stage), and would recommend them highly to anyone thinking to head out anywhere in Italy. Grazie ladies!

Selected Tours Italy made our travel experience a huge success and took all the stress out of planning. We loved every hotel they booked us in; accommodations were generous and super well located— perfect for our family with two teenagers. The experiences they booked for us were with excellent tour leaders and provided robust and delightful ways to visit Venice, Florence, and Rome. We went on food tours, bike tours, and other tailored experiences based on our partnership with Lidia and Selected Tours Italy. Will definitely use their services again if/when we return to Italy!

We highly recommend Selected Tours of Italy. Our experience with them was first rate. They helped plan our trip, made all our reservations (hotels, transportation, and special activities), and even checked in with us during the trip. The travel was seamless and everyone we dealt with was professional, caring, and extremely helpful.

They do a great job of listening to you and planning the trip that you want, not what they think you should do, although they provided us with plenty of helpful tips and suggestions for activities and sites along the way. We knew we were traveling to Italy during busy season, but Selected Tours helped us avoid the crowds as much as possible.

She has gone from the pandemic period, when most travel was shut down by the Italian government, to one of leading her company to one of the best travel companies in Rome. Her knowledge of Rome and Italy is excellent, extremely professional, and is
