I've taken two loans out through this company with both being a barrow and grow plan. The first loan I had a positive experience but the second completely ruined the first and I will not ever use this company again. About half way through paying my loan off I got an email that my loan would be taken over by another company called SST. The terms didn't change but the crappy company that took over are terrible and outsourced to india.. before when my loan was paid off I could withdrawal my saved money the next day. This new company I had to battle with showing I paid my loan off early over two weeks before I could finally request my saved funds only to be told it would take 4 to 6 weeks to process my request and release my saved funds.. terrible service and very bad excuses as to why things take so long. Do not use Seefi, they will give you away to bad companies without your consent

Seed Fi along with SST are scamming people who are already going thru tough times. I took out a $4000 loan and only received $1500 upfront. The remaining funds was supposed to be unlocked upon paying off my loan but it wasn’t. My loan has been paid in full for over a month and I have not received my savings and neither SeedFi nor SST can help with. But they’re willing to take your money. When it comes to you asking about your savings they give run around, blame it on each other. They do not have no information what so ever about savings. They act as if it doesn’t exist. Both of these companies need to be shut down and a class action lawsuit needs to begin. They are taking people money.

On April 15, 2022, I was approved for a $7,000 hybrid loan from SeedFi. $4,000 available immediately, and $3,000 secured in a 'locked' savings account (held by Cross River Bank). The monthly payment was $320.00, which I kept current. On December 03, 2022, I received an email from SeedFi stating that my loan was being taken over by their 'trusted partner', SST. The monthly payment was still $320.00, which I kept current. On February 27, 2023 I decided to pay the loan off and have the savings account unlocked. I initiated a payment of $4,098.18 which was processed, and deposited, by SST on February 28, 2023. I immediately called SST and asked them to release the lock on the savings account so I could access the much-needed funds. Was told they would unlock the funds and have it deposited to my checking account as soon as possible, but no later than March 22, 2023. It is now the end of business on March 22, 2023 and I still do not have the funds. Furthermore, SST outright lied on an email to me about the payoff of the account, claiming it was 03/16/2023. The payoff was actually 17 days earlier. Furthermore, SST initiated an auto-withdrawal from my checking account AFTER I paid off the account even though I have called numerous times informing them the auto-withdrawals need to stop immediately. In total, SeedFi/SST/Cross River Bank owes me $3,328.86, DUE IMMEDIATELY.

I was told it takes 22 days before they release your save and grow account and it could take another 3 days before its deposited. I'm still waiting for my money. It's been 22 days. Don't ever use this service ever!!! They are a scam and then call service is so inexperienced. It's not even a joke

I just made a payment to SST on my SeedFi loan, and got a text message about the payment had been reported to TAB bank in regards to my FlexLending loan...??? Called the number the text came from and it went to SST...talked with one of the CS reps who had no idea who TAB bank was, and knew nothing about FlexLending....more shady stuff from SST?? TAB bank is online only, and are in the transpotation market...I can't find anything on FlexLending....wish now I had never heard of SeedFi!!

Seedfi sold my account and my credit dropped.

The entire reason I even opened a SeedFi Loan was the promise of "paying myself back" and increasing my credit with a revolving loan.

SeedFi SOLD MY ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER BANK, CLOSED MY SEEDFI LOAN ON MY CREDIT REPORT.

My credit report dropped. If I could sue them I would. Now I'm just paying off the loan completely and being done with this scam.

I would give negative stars if I could. Credit builder loan sold to shady SST company without permission. Unable to use website to make payments.

If I could give them a zero I would. Seedfi sold my loan to another company. I looked into that company and did not like what I saw so I decided to pay off my $2800 balance. With seedfi I was approved for $4000 ; $1500 was disbursed to me and $2500 was put in savings and would only be available once the entire $4000 was paid for. The new company told me I would get my savings portion back within 30 days, and they could only refund via checks. I was unhappy because that’s not how things were laid out to me by seedfi when I signed up with them. I still waited because I have no choice at that point. Today it has been 42 days since I paid off the loan and I still have not received my refund. I call almost every week and they always say different things but the only consistent thing is that the refund is “pending”. No other explanation. They expect us to beg for our own money. They have even taken my bank info to issue a refund because now they can refund electronically. It was supposed to speed up the process and I was supposed to get the funds 7 days from the date I gave my bank info. Needless to say it is another lie. I have asked to speak to a supervisor each time I called SST ; speak to someone that can provide an answer I was put in hold for over 30 minutes one time. Another time I was told I would get a call back. All the new company is saying are lies and I blame seedfi because they are who I went Into business with. I did not asked for the loan to be sold and be scammed. I now think this was seedfi plan all along. Get you on the hook with false promises and sell your loan to scammers.

Seedfi sold my loan, which made my credit go down and trying to pay off my loan. Can’t seem to get a hold of anybody. They just keep hanging up on me or they don’t have the information I need. I just keep getting the runaround. It’s so frustrating.

Sold my loan without my permission to SST, won't work with me on restructuring the loan as it pertains to applying my savings balance to the overall loan, despite having paid off a previous loan (in full). Their customer service representative, Jonathan, is a window licker and their business practices are incredibly unethical.

SeedFi sold my loan to a sketchy company SST, that has a bogus website, an e-mail account that has no ties to SST and looks fake and is requesting payments be made through Western Union. You get no replies in contacting SST’s sketchy email account and just get asked to call a number for customer support that is linked to scams being run out of the Philippines. SeedFi is clearly a sketchy, shady company and I beg you to not do business with them. They cannot distance themselves from SST and the failure on SST's part to pay out the savings account balances that so many consumers on different platforms including BBB are complaining about. If you sell an account to another agency, it is your duty and responsibility to stand behind that transaction particularly when the other company are swindlers.

SeedFi was a great company in 2021/22 when I first took out a borrow and grow account with them. I loved the product and service and in late 2022 I decided to do it again only for my loan to be sold off in December 2022 with no notice. Now I'm paying this sketchy SST and can't access my lone from their even sketcher accountinfo.com website. It's so sketchy google wont even let me access the site! I'm still paying off my loan but I'm hearing things about people not getting their savings turned over to them.

Seedfi take my account and sold it out to sst and I paid off my loan in full and I can’t get my Money back they are to pay me $950 and they are giving me pure run around one their staff hang the phone up on me when I ask her when am I going to get my money and I call back and another lady answer and told to give her my account information so that they can deposit my money and after she told me that it is going to take 15 days to process this barrow and save thing do not help they drop my credit score it seems like this is a scam at first they told me that at the end of the payment sst is going to send me a check in the mail but that was a lie, it’s been over 30 days sense I paid off my loan and I should receive my savings of $950 I want that money to pay for my credit cards

The company sold my loan to a random, generic, sketchy company. Not the product I bought. There were never any disclosures at the beginning of the process telling me that my loan could be sold. The company they sold My loan too is unprofessional with a terrible reputation and people are not getting the full experience of what is supposed to be a positive credit building loan process. Incredibly disappointed in this company and they have zero ethics or morals when it comes to holding up their end of the bargain in the process. They manipulate their customers into thinking that they're getting a certain kind of loan, and then completely change the process. Unbelievable customer service will never use them again ps I paid off my loan and they keep giving me a run around all I want is the 2500$ out of my savings account

Words can not describe how awful this company and their new partner is. Everything was fine, and then they decided to sell all of their loans to a company called SST. I wasn't aware of this immediately, so imagine my surprise when I find out that not only do i have to pay this new company, which has no zero fee payment options, but there is also a $105 late fee. These fees were no where to be found in my actual SeedFi account, and there was no notice of any fees EVER from them. Of course, there's also no record of my transaction history to verify these charges either. SST also has an extremely outdated website that looks like its from the early 2000s that logs you out for inactivity WHILE YOU'RE USING THE SITE. Even when you make a payment the balance doesn't update. I'm sure seedfi doesn't care because they probably went under but i don't think it was necessary to take the rest of us down with you.

Funny thing is.. I don’t think I ever signed up for this… just kind of appeared. I don’t even know what my balance was. Where the money is or was or whatever. Hmmm. But I DO see a “loan with a credit limit of $1000 was CLOSED by Seedfi” dropping my score 10 points. Thanks. So where’s the money I gave you, supposedly?

Received a loan for 4K and received 2k and the other 2k goes into a supposed savings account. I now owe less than 2k and want to take the money from the savings account to pay off the loan. Of course they say they can't do that (probably because there is no savings account like they claim). I went to the BBB site and seen alot of complaints of people who have paid off the loan but still haven't received their check. Now the Seedfi sold off the loan to this low budget company and I'm trying to decide If I should continue to make payments as its looking like you not going to get that savings account check. But I don't want to mess up my credit. We need a class action lawsuit.
