We hebben een ontzettend fijne ervaring gehad bij Seats and Sofas Almere!

Vanaf binnenkomst voelden we ons meteen welkom. We werden geholpen door Pooya, die alle tijd voor ons nam, goed naar onze wensen luisterde en verschillende banken liet zien die bij ons pasten. Ook gaf hij ons alle ruimte om rustig na te denken over onze twijfels, zonder enige druk. Dat vonden we echt heel prettig!

Dit was ons eerste bezoek en we zijn meteen geslaagd met een prachtige bank voor een mooie prijs! De winkel is ruim en heeft enorm veel keuze.

Kortom: super tevreden en zeker een aanrader!

We kwamen even checken of we een mooi hoekbankje konden vinden bij Seats en Sofa's.
We werden geholpen door Simon super leuke verkoper niets was Simon teveel.
Het werd echt een fantastisce beleving met koffie en alle stofjes die we konden kiezen, de betaling mocht ik ook verspreiden wel zo fijn na de vakantie en nu alles zo duur is vind je daar echt mooie aandbieding!

Niko was a super salesman

Disappointing experience with how the pricing was presented

We recently purchased a Loretta sofa configuration from Seats & Sofas for €2,600. We have decided to keep the order, so this review is not about the quality of the sofa itself. Our concern is specifically about the way the price was presented and negotiated in the showroom.

We chose a 2-seater and a 3-seater, with the 3-seater having the full electric relax function, including the electric footrest and headrest, as well as the upholstery/material we selected.

After making our selections, the salesperson initially told us that the price would be over €4,000 if the sofa needed to be custom ordered, or approximately €3,300 if it was available from stock. We explained that this was far beyond what we wanted to spend.

The salesperson then asked us what our maximum budget was. We said €2,600. She went to speak to her manager and came back with a price of exactly €2,600.

At the time, we accepted this because we believed we were being offered a significant deal by the manager. However, after leaving the store and researching the sofa and its pricing ourselves, we became uncomfortable with the way the price had been presented.

Our concern is not that we agreed to €2,600. We understand that we agreed to the purchase. Our concern is that we were first presented with figures of €4,000+ and approximately €3,300, and then, after telling the salesperson our maximum budget, the price suddenly became exactly €2,600. We were never given a clear breakdown showing how the original prices were calculated, how much the different configurations/functions/materials cost, or what discount was actually being given.

When we subsequently asked about cancelling the order, we were told that cancellation would involve a substantial percentage of the purchase price. After speaking to the store again, we were given more information suggesting that, considering the two sofas, the electric relax functions and the material we selected, €2,600 may in fact be a reasonable price.

For that reason, we have decided to keep the order.

However, we still feel that the pricing should have been communicated much more transparently from the beginning. If €2,600 was genuinely a good price for our particular configuration, we would have preferred to be shown a clear calculation rather than being given a very high initial price, followed by another price, and then arriving at exactly the maximum budget we had disclosed.

Our advice to anyone shopping at Seats & Sofas would be to ask for a full written breakdown of the price, including the base price, configuration, electric functions, materials and any discounts, before agreeing to the purchase seeing as they did not provide this to us.

We hope the sofa itself is good quality and meets our expectations, and we will be happy to update this review once we have received it.

Goed geholpen door Pooya, dacht heel fijn met ons mee en had goede kennis over het assortiment. Zeker een aanrader!

De ontvangst was bijzonder en zeer behulpzaam alleen vond ik de expertise op de relaxstoel minder geen aandacht voor bv persoon voor zo’n stoel je zou meer willen weten brede stoel of slanke stoel dan bedoel ik op maat aandacht zelfde geld voor de bank je kan ook beweeg baar krijgen soort relax toch verder vragen of laten zien verder ok de service zeer vriendelijk

Ashwieta heeft ons super geholpen. Wij zijn heel blij met onze aankoop!

Hele fijne service gehad door Aswieta. Ze dacht goed mee in de mogelijkheden en ze gaf ook ruimte om zelf rond te kijken.
