Swift and friendly service, reception very friendly and helpful, which is so rare in these places! I was actually seen earlier than my scheduled appointment- again unheard of!
Saw Dr Lytton as he was recommended to me, my first appointment with a private gp but felt that as I have a number of issues and at my current surgery i wouldnt have had the time to go over them or wider concerns i took the plunge . Dr lytton was patient and reassuring and it was a relief to have more time to go over all of my medical worries. Reminds me of how Dr's surgery's were decades ago!

Brilliant service from start to finish.
Able to book an appointment online for the next day and to have a good amount of time to discuss my symptoms. It is good to be able to have this type of pay as you use service! Would highly recommend them.

Had my second visit to SDHC for a consultation for a viral condition. Saw Dr.Malek who was very helpful and compassionate. I had a thorough examination and some useful advice on what to do to feel better. Booking the appointment was easy as can be done online. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend .

An invaluable opportunity to have an in-depth consultation with an experienced GP without feeling that the aim was to rush through as many patients as possible.
This enabled a full discussion on medical history, symptoms and possible treatment paths with an attentive, knowledgeable health professional.

Dr Evashni Chetty was fantastic spending time to really understand my issue. Very comprehensive and took bloods needed there and then.

Results and full review with next steps mapped out sent within a couple of days.

Diagnosed issue and I am now seeing a specialist to resolve the problem.

Will be using SDHC for all my future needs for GP services. Quick and easy to book and spend time to really understand issues and act to get resolved as quickly as possible. Well worth the cost.

I saw a very nice doctor who was very caring and listened to my concerns. She tried to help me as much as she could. I believe prescribed the right medication.

The attention to detail and the personal interest in me as a patient. The Doctor was able to contact my surgeon personally and I was advised to go to hospital immediately to have intravenous antibiotics administered. Friendly, attentive and helpful service.

I was seen very promptly and treated with expertise and great kindness. The doctor is first-class in his profession.

I go to a wonderful NHS surgery, but I had a blood infection in Cyprus, and it was getting worse and I knew I needed a much longer appointment. Well I had the good fortune to meet Dr. Lytton. And the Good Lord smiled on me. I could not wish for someone better to get me through this.

After being given a phone appointment for a month's time by my local surgery, for symptoms of angina and a possible heart attack, during the past three weeks, I contacted South Downs Health Care and saw Doctor Lytton within two days. I was thoroughly examined, and as a result was prescribed medication for Angina. He arranged an ECG and blood tests at my local surgery in the afternoon. He also phoned me at home to check how things were going, and to keep me updated. He also arranged an appointment with a cardiac specialist, Professor Patel, who I saw the next morning, and who has actioned an Echocardiogram and a coronary angiogram (NHS).
I am so grateful to both doctors for their speed, professionalism and understanding towards me during this difficult time. I would not hesitate to use their services in the future. Thankyou

I should start by saying that the Doctor who I saw was excellent. Extremely nice and very thorough. However, the inability to get through on the phone to follow up after my appointment (now two weeks on) is nothing short of infuriating.
When I was initially booking a Consultation, I was bombarded with phone calls, but now....silence.
So, a good Doctor, woefully let down by "reception staff". Echoes of the NHS at the moment. Hardly worth shelling out hundreds of pounds to sort out medical concerns.

The professionalism of the consultant is outstanding and he dealt with each of my concerns very sympathetically. His subsequent evaluation was also very thorough and helpful.I found the whole experience very reassuring and intend to follow in full the advice I was given.

Doctor on time, identified medical problem and recommended medication to cure infection.
