Well, this was an unexpected journey into a world I didn't know existed. Car finally went beyond value/cost to repair so decided to get rid of it. Could have done it through a well-known auction/selling website but didn't want the hassle. Step forward 'Scrap a Vehicle'. They arranged everything, professional collection, payment and advised on the V5 paperwork. Could have been more generous on the price they offered but, on the whole, a positive experience.

David was my main point of contact for when I had my car picked up. He communicated well, giving detailed information in written and spoken form when needed.
When the outsourced car pick up guy arrived, it would have been nice for him to have introduced himself. Despite this, the service was very efficient. The hand over of the V5C was straightforward.
Payment was received promptly.

After looking around for while for a reliable option to scrap my car and getting frustrated at the low prices offered and being messed around, I came across Scrap A Vehicle. From the very start I spoke directly with David, over a WhatsApp chat and directly over the phone. He quickly sought me a fair price from a local scrap merchant, answered all my questions quickly and honestly and when the merchant failed to inform the DVLA that I had sold them the car, he even sorted that for me extremely quickly too, putting my mind at ease. Top notch from start to finish, would absolutely recommend.
