Very well organised site with 24hr access. Having small businesses on the site adds to the security and ambience. Staff are very helpful. No problems and containers are very clean and watertight.

I can not thank sca storage enough
I can not thank sca storage enough. Found myself made redundant and homeless with 48hrs to get out basically and the lady on the phone was fantastic and as for john on site at ripon absolutely fantastic. I honestly don't know what i would of done without them. The friendlyness and ease of how everything was dealt with was amazing.

Great unit 👍
Just vacated the unit after 12 months. Great service, always easy access, wonderful staff. The unit provided a secure, dry lock up, everything came out as it went in. Would highly recommend and would use again if required. Many thanks.

Very helpful through the booking…
Very helpful through the booking process. On the day of handover there was nobody around to pick up the keys. Everything had been thought of & before going to lunch, John had left them inside the container.
Easy to contact, very clean container & easy access.

Very simple and friendly service
Very simple and friendly service. The units were really clean and easy to use. Communication with the company was easy and they were swift to resolve any issues that arose. Would have no hesitation using them again.

Totally Dissatisfied I have just visited the the SCA storage…
I have just visited the the SCA storage site at Copt Hewick and discovered that somebody has tampered with the lock on the large shipping container that I have been leasing for two years.
Nobody was around at the SCA office, for me to report this. I was unable to gain access to the container. I was also unable to put the bar element of the locking system in place, because it would appear that the would-be burglar has damaged it, so I’m unsure how secure it is. Since I first began using the SCA site the monthly rental has increased by 40 percentage - massively more than the inflation rate. A lot of money for a poor service.

Hi Tim, my name is Ross, and I am one of the owners of SCA Self Storage. I have already spoken with you directly, but based on the allegations in your review and our discussion, I feel it is necessary to respond here as well. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in accessing your unit today. We understand how frustrating this situation can be, regardless of the circumstances, and we always strive to resolve such issues promptly when they occur.
In your case today, we discovered that the door was jammed because it had not been correctly closed on a previous occasion. The bolt inside the left-hand door had dropped before it was fully closed, causing the doors to press tightly against the padlock and jam in position. Consequently, the external door lever could not be set in the hook position and this situation indicates an issue with the doors' alignment, as you have experienced. This can and was remedied quickly by us upon receiving your email today.
Although we were not on-site at the time of your presence, as it was a Sunday afternoon, you only reported it to us via email at 12:19pm, after leaving the site. We still addressed the matter promptly, and John was on-site investigating for you in less than an hour, by 1:10 pm.
While we understand your frustration in not gaining access, we acted on your report and took the allegations of a suspected break in seriously, at the earliest opportunity you provided. Upon investigation, we found no evidence of an attempted break-in. The door and padlock remained undamaged, we checked all surrounding units and observed no damage to those either. We have not received any similar reports of suspicious activity of any kind in the several months since you last attended your unit, nor ever. Your review was posted simultaneously with your contact to report the issue, making it challenging for us to address your concerns before such a damaging accusation was made.
We acknowledge your dissatisfaction with the price increases, which is always a sensitive subject. To provide transparency, we reviewed your account, and your initial pricing two years ago was £110 per month. Your current unit rental is £140, reflecting a 27% increase, significantly less than the 40% you mentioned.
In your email, you mentioned taking photos of the unit upon arrival today. Despite our multiple requests via email, SMS, and phone calls, we have yet to receive these photos. We kindly ask you to forward them to us, as this will assist us in investigating the matter further. We are committed to addressing your concerns and ensuring we are doing everything possible to rectify the situation.

Fantastic service, sales support - we were not sure what we needed so everything explained really easily. The lady who organized everything could not have been better. The onsite guy John was very accommodating to meet us when we were able to fit visit in between work. Highly recommend!!
