WHERE DO I START?! One of the best weeks ever! Been following Salt Escapes on Instagram since day one so thought I knew what I was getting myself in for… my expectations where higher than high and somehow… it managed to exceed them! Amy and Mike are the best in the business - amazing coaches and the best fun! Rhi ran the Pilates sessions which was beyond beautiful and so perfect for stretching, breathing and appreciating how BEAUTIFUL our view was from the villa! Don’t get me wrong, the workouts were HARD - but with Amy and Mike guiding you through everything step by step and receiving nothing but support and encouragement from your new SALTY FAMILY… you can achieve anything!
BOAT DAY is also a must with Mike’s margarita’s on tap and brilliant tunes to party to in the sea - once in a lifetime (although it won’t be… as we will be booking again very soon) - made friends for life and coming home with the best attitude for fitness x THANK YOU SALT ESCAPES! x

My first retreat and it won't be my last with Salt Escapes! Amazing training, luxurious villa, the most delicious food, great people and the best organization from start to finish. Thank you Amy, Mike & Beth for this week! I will definitely be back (next year).

Had an incredible time with Salt Escapes in the island of Paros, Greece. The perfect balance of fitness, relaxing at the most amazing villa with ocean views and plenty of space to sunbathe by the pool, chill with new friends, eating delicious healthy food prepared every day by professional chefs and going on adventures: from runs and training at the beach, visiting the local town to a super fun boat day exploring the nearby islands, caves and cliff jumping! Amy and Mike were the best hosts ever that kept us energised the whole week with an exciting menu of daily activities. The fitness was one of the bests I have ever done with clever ideas mixing up weight training, interval training, boxing with team challenges that made the whole experience an unforgettable one. On top of that, we had daily yoga with the nicest and coolest yoga instructor Beth. There were 14 of us + the instructors and every single person contributed to this beautiful experience with good vibes, lots of laughter and teamwork! This is the type of experience, hosts and fitness retreat that you will want to repeat!

Trip of a lifetime in Paros Greece. Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. Great workouts fantastic food and spectacular views from a very luxurious villa. These guys know how to retreat. Leaving feeling relaxed energised toned tanned and totally chilled out. Signing up for another trip for my next holiday 10/10 would recommend.

An epic week!

Hands down one of the best breaks I have ever had. Amazing times, a great group of people, intense and varied workouts, amazing daily yoga sessions with Beth, tasty food cooked by Rosie and Christian, an insane villa with unique luxury rooms, 5 mins walk from the beach with sea views, immense boat day out island hoping and beautiful evening out in a quaint Greek fishing village… can’t wait to do it again!

The vibe Amy and Mike (the Founders of Salt Escapes) create is absolutely perfect, their passion and enthusiasm as well as the way they go about things is spot on for a challenging, fun and relaxing time. Lovely peeps. And absolute couples goals.

The workouts ranged from HIT sessions, coast runs, boxing on the beach, sand and water sprints and even pushing cars up hills. Amy and Mike ensure everyone is getting the most from the sessions individually, whilst bringing the group together with challenges and competitions.

And don’t worry about constantly taking pictures, whilst Amy is putting you through a few too many burpees, Mike is capturing the whole experience with pro-level photography and a drone footage.

And nothing better than ending with a dip in the Aegean Sea, or one of the villa’s pools followed by a nap in the sun.

Every expectation met and exceeded. You can see why so many people join Salt Escapes time and time again.

This is my second escape. Amazing people, instructors and food. If your thinking about booking any other fitness retreat just stop and do this one.

Is it possible to give 6 stars out of 5? Mike and Amy have built something incredible with Salt Escapes. It's the perfect holiday - so well balanced between working out, relaxing, making new friends, and eating delicious food. It's one of the best holidays I've ever had, and will not hesitate to book another one for next year. The trips are for EVERYONE! Even people who are new to fitness, Mike & Amy talk you through all the workouts and can always modify everything for anyone who needs it due to injury etc. But the week is about so much more than the fitness! The villa is stunning, the views are unmatched, and the day on the boat is just perfect. Best week ever 🥰

It’s hard to put into words, but a Salt Escapes trip is truly a magical experience. My first trip was in Costa Rica, and I remember my excitement yet nervousness when I booked it. I was nervous about traveling solo to a foreign country to meet an entire group of strangers to do workouts that looked like they were designed for olympians, not me. Yet somehow I knew it was exactly what I needed. On that trip, I met the most amazing people and left with an entire new group of friends from different states and countries that I continue to keep in touch with. To my own surprise, I did every workout and nothing was too hard or beyond my skill level. Amy and Mike are two of the kindest, most welcoming hosts, challenging trainers, and quite honestly - the most fun to be around. They instantly felt like an extension of family. I’ve since been to Menorca with Salt Escapes, and again it exceeded my expectations. Incredible people, delicious food, challenging workouts, good drinks and way too much fun in the most beautiful villa and setting. If you're thinking about it - book a trip with them. You will eat well, work out well, rest well, and have the best time doing it. I promise, it’s the best money you’ll spend on yourself. Warning: you may become addicted. I definitely am, and I’m so happy to be.

Second Salt Escapes done! Looking for a holiday adventure, with legit workouts, chef prepared healthy meals, good laughs and lots of salt… Salt Escapes Sardinia was great. Definitely a gamble as a solo female traveler, living in a villa with strangers… but Amy & Mike curate a great week of fitness and adventure… no regrets.

Oops I did it again…and again and again and again and again! Trip number 5 and counting with Salt Escapes and they never disappoint! Amazing people, places, food, workouts and of course boat days!! Every trip has been on another level from Greece to Sardinia all the way to Costa Rica, everything has been thought of for you, so all you have to do is turn up and have an epic time. Mike and Amy have truly created something special and I’m so glad I took the plunge to travel solo for the first time in 2020 and book my first escape! Bring on number 6 👌🏻

Where to even start?! I had such an amazing experience with Salt Escapes Amy and Mike are the best host for the trip! Workouts were fun, motivating and best of all challenging! The food prepared by the chef was delicious and healthy. Boat day was definitely a day to remember so much fun, overall a life changing trip. I would definitely book another escape with them they really know how to vacay! highly recommend it!

Hands down one of the most fun trips I've been on! Although it was a health-focused trip, it was not stilted and the overarching feel was a coterie of friends and fitness revelers. The workouts, food, and events were all included. Therefore, it allowed time to relax, socialize, nosh, and imbibe; all at a beautiful Villa in Spain.

It was fun to meet people from around the globe and share meals, workouts, and downtime. The hosts, Mike and Amy, are genuine and caring people who went out of their way to ensure all was taken care of and each person was enjoying their time.

If you are looking for a trip that focuses on fitness, healthy eating, and socializing, all while staying in a luxurious house, look no further : )

I booked my Salt Escape in Menorca largely because of the positive reviews I read online, and I must say the experience lived up to the hype! Amy and Mike are genuinely kind and fun, and they clearly have impeccable taste. Our boxing/yoga instructor Ailsa was also a blast. The HIIT workouts definitely pushed me to my limits, as I am more accustomed to running, but I left feeling stronger for it.

The villa itself was exquisite, and secluded despite being only 20 minutes from the airport. I couldn't believe how stunning and green the surrounding countryside was. Every inch of the property was thoughtfully curated and immaculately maintained. The food was delicious and beautiful. When I vacation, I rarely stay in one place for more than 3 days, but staying here for a week was a real treat. I honestly thought to myself, "This must be how celebrities live." Thank you, Amy and Mike, for bringing together this unforgettable experience.

I just completed my first Salt Escapes in Menorca, Spain. My sister and brother-in-law did it about a year ago and fell in love with it and were a big reason I decided to give it a go. I had pretty high expectations going into it and all of them were met, if not exceeded. The Villa we were in was straight out of a movie. Everything about it down to the littlest detail was 5 stars. The food really exceeded my expectations. The quality, presentation and taste of everything was fabulous but the fact that most of it was farm to table, picked that morning in some cases, made it even more special. The workouts are quite challenging, especially if you don’t do quick, high intensity full body circuits. The coaches push you but are reasonable too and you feel amazing after every workout. The fellow escapees are also all amazing and fun to spend a week with. I look forward to doing another one and would highly recommend this to all. A big thank you to the owners/coaches/everything’s, Mike and Amy. Thank you for an unforgettable week.

As this was my second Salt Escapes trip, I didn’t feel my expectations could be surpassed, merely met. I was very wrong.
There was something truly special about the Menorca experience. The villa was out of this world, somewhere I will be very disappointed if I can’t return to. The staff could not have looked after us any better, way beyond a 5 star stay. The food has to be enjoyed to be believed and those views, that pool, (that bar!) meant I could have stayed forever!
As I said in my last review, Amy and Mike manage to create something unique with bespoke touches like no other. Your trip will long stay in your mind with those pictures and tunes in your head. You can exercise anywhere and with anyone but this offers so much more.
I was so lucky to have such a great group of people around me, some of whom I’m genuinely proud to now call friends. There is absolutely no doubt that I will be booking again. I was genuinely very sad leaving!

Salt Escapes have taken me to Greece, Spain and Costa Rica, and have been incredible every time.

The locations and villas are always breath taking. Food is always superb, healthy and in abundance (with some treats too!).

Amy and Mike are wonderful hosts who are constantly positive and provide bundles of energy

Workouts are great fun, varied and cater to all levels. In between workouts there's always a lot of chill and socialising to be had.

And boat day....well...

These trips are amazing and I would strongly recommend to book if you are considering.

Had the most amazing week with the Salt Escapes crew in Zakynthos! Mike, Amy and Beth were incredible coaches and the food and Villa were truly 5 star! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves this type of escape and I can’t wait to book my next trip with them.

I have been on a few fitness retreats but NONE compare to Salt Escapes. I have just got back from a week in Greece with Amy and Mike and am full to the brim with amazing memories! Salt Escapes allows you to holiday solo in a safe and luxurious way...Amy and Mike make you feel so welcome and the it's so lovely meeting a whole bunch of like minded friends on your trip. I cannot recommend Salt Escapes more, I'm so so delighted to have found them. The villa was GORGEOUS, the chef was so talented and cooked amazing home cooked Greek food every day for us, the staff cleaned our rooms beautifully and gave us clean fresh white towels daily, the workouts were challenging but oh so fun, I have to say...the standard was up there. There is no doubt I will be returning to do a Salt Escape every year now..it has been my favourite holiday in a long time, I absolutely loved every minute! Thank you Amy and Mike for all the care, thought, consideration and passion you put in to every part of the retreat..it doesn't go unnoticed. You two are wonderful. Keep doing what you're doing! See you next year!!!!!!
