Super service from initial phone call to ordering & delivery.
From start to finish Josh from SAL Marine, was very quick and efficient in answering my emails.
He even went the extra mile and took the trouble to send me a picture of the exact carburettor jet I was seeking for reference.
As soon as I verified this was the one I required, it was in the post and I received it two days later.
I couldn't ask for a better service.

Sal Marine had what I wanted without me having to purchase from an overseas dealer and paying a fortune for delivery
I ordered a seal. A very small seal. No issues but the price of the item was extortionate and postage costs were ridiculous.
The item was fine and time to delivery was good but come on guys - this was a £1.50 part at most!
I was very grateful to get immediate response from SAL in order to check my engine at short notice as we were on holiday and wanted to know the engine would be ok to cross to Dartmouth.
I can highly recommend SAL for their attention to detail,reassurance, and extremely polite engineer .
Jake attended the boat and was able to check the engine with a diagnostic and recommended a solution to the problem, he was very reassuring and wasted no time in correcting the problem, he was very polite and even did a video of his work and recommendations for the future.
We are now on the way to the West Country with confidence and cannot thank SAL and Jake for all their support .

Efficient and quick service, although £3.32 + Tax for P&P seemed excessive for a small, thin gasket which cost £3.65 + Tax!
Our one year old boat was damaged in their care while having an incredibly expensive service. £500 for a service on a 30hp engine that has barely any hours on it and we have come out with the foam floor wrecked by cats. We were absolutely not told that cats would rip our boat to pieces in their yard because we obviously would never have gone there. Apparently this is “well known in the industry”. And for anyone else this happens to, which it will because they’ve told us this happens all the time, do not let them make you think you’ve left the boat at your own risk. This is not a legally binding statement. Of course the boat is their responsibility while they have it so do not let them make you think it’s your fault.

The customer service here has been fantastic. They sorted a technical issue on my Volvos that other company’s had been trying to sort for months. The service videos are a great touch. I will be back!
I purchased a Honwave T35AE along with a Suzuki DF20 and trailer.
Goods arrived just when expected and a minor problem was rectified immediately when I hadn't requested a resolution.
Service has been above and beyond that expected and I wouldn't hesitate on buying from them.
Paid a 20% deposit £680 for a Highfield CL310 in Hypalon on 25 August 2020 but the boat was not ready for delivery until 27 July 2021 apparently due to COVID related issues. By July our circumstances had changed & we did not want delivery of the boat & were forced to cancel our order & forfeit the deposit as SAL alleged they had lost money due to collection costs from Exter & other shipping & import costs and would have to store the boat for a considerable time as there was little demand for this hypalon version. Phoned 3 business days later to say we could now take delivery only to be told the boat had been sold to a 3rd party so we could no longer have the boat nor get any form of refund from our deposit. SAL refused to disclose any of the alleged costs they claim exceeeded the amount of the deposit and were very unhelpful in handling the matter given we had already waited 11 months for fulfillment of the order. I would not trust them with an order again.
