The south panels are lightweight curved to your body and are very efficient. I also like how they have side protection our staff proof and/proof as well as can withstand of a variety of small Arms fire

Came highly recommended and I’m not disappointed at all. Only Safe life Defense's customer service is lacking, their product is on point!

Fits in the safelife outer carrier very well and does offer side protection. I’m also a skinny 5’11” 185lbs so the sides of the panels overlap. If I was more round for a lack of better words there wouldn’t be as much side protection. Can’t comment on the actual performance and hopefully never got shot to find out.

Great flexible soft armor and color coded which I like to distinguish from the rifle flex armor in blue.
