Products are very good, customer service not so much

Products are very good. On a recent purchase, my presale inquiry was respond to very quickly regarding a discount. I was given a code for 10%. I ordered on a Friday and the next day, the site had a 20% sale. I emailed about an adjustment and never received a reply. During Black Friday and that weekend, everything was 30% off! Now that was two weeks after I purchased so I'm not complaining about that sale. But having an additional 10% off the day after your order, in my opinion deserves an adjustment. I don't like getting excellent pre sale customer service, but none after the sale. We went camping this past week and the water softener from RV Water Filter Store performed great. Really changed the water quality. So I have a mixed experience.

Excited to use the system, helpful customer service

Still getting my system set up to use my first filter system from this store, but it seems good. Had a cracked part and the company sent a replacement no charge, which I'm very grateful for. Look forward to using this filter system for a while and trusting the quality of my RV water.

Surprisingly,- today I noticed the return address added in a previous post, which I've been waiting for since NOV 2023.

Once again, I have no idea where your reviews come from! But let's face it, the internet is full of platforms where companies buy positive reviews to cover mistakes.

However, this bitter lesson is over, thanks to Amazon's understanding in allowing a return after 6 months, because the missing support by your company. That should be warning enough. I'll warn every potential customer against buying from your company. Be cautious and check bad reviews on Amazon; they don't take care of you.

Update 5-21-24:
Your company has assured us since November that we could return it if we were not happy, but you advised us to hold off until we left Florida because you said our water must be very bad. Actually, it's the same bad-tasting water as in Florida. Therefore, we contacted you multiple times at the same email address for weeks, but we got no response anymore. Last week, you mentioned on TrustPilot that you would return it and refund me in full, but again, nothing happened. People can make up their own minds about your reviews and are smarter than some companies think ;) 

However, I contacted Amazon today and forwarded them the entire email conversation we had as well as the ongoing story here on TrustPilot. GOOD NEWS: They will accept the return of your water filter because we were NOT the first or only ones with this problem, as all potential customers can read on Amazon. They've kindly stepped after 6 month in for your company. 

I'm sure they've already informed you, and that's probably the only reason why you've responded since Friday.

This could have been handled so easily with a replacement since November, instead you left us behind.

No idea where these positive reviews come from! This water softener has been a big disappointment. Our previous campground in Florida had hard water, so I ordered the largest model of this softener to avoid having to refill the salt every month.

However, I ended up needing to add 6 pounds of salt at least every 4 days! I still was very frustrated with the results and contacted RV Water Filter Store, who recommended using ResCare to potentially extend the refill period. Unfortunately, it didn't help, and I still had to refill the softener every 4 days.

My neighbor had a similar softener from another manufacturer and only needed to refill the salt every 6–8 weeks. Now we're staying in Utah, where the water isn’t as hard as in Florida, but I'm facing the same issue. I end up adding 6 pounds of salt to this water softener every 4 days, which is becoming very expensive over time.

I suspect there is something wrong with the water softener I purchased from RV Water Filter Store. I am very unhappy with this product. I wrote them several emails to ask if I could return the softener, but they have not responded. In the end, I am stuck with an expensive softener that does not work as expected. I cannot recommend this company. There are much better softeners on the market—stay away from this brand.

There are zero messages in amazon seller central tied to your order ID, and the only email I can see in our zendesk system which creates a ticket for every message sent to cs@rvwaterfilterstore.com was the one you just sent Thursday May 16th. So I'm at a loss here, because I can't find all of this communication that you are talking about. Were you emailing some other email address? was it phone calls?
Again we provide limited lifetime warranties on our products, and money back guarantees. We have been serving RV'ers for over 30 years. And we have 1000s of reviews with a 4.8 avg. Nobody over here is trying to dodge you or keep your money

Could definitely be a bad batch of resin in the tank, happens sometimes. But sometimes it's also the water supply. The water is never the same all over the country, and it sounds like your particular areas have extremely hard water.

Also, how did you have your softener setup, do you have a whole rv filtration system before or after the softener in series? For any model you choose going forward, you should setup pre-filters ahead of your softener.

Pam, you purchased the product through amazon Prime and it was fulfilled by amazon. You could have easily returned your purchase via amazon and had a full refund already. But you didn't do that. Now it has been too long and amazon won't even allow you to automatically return the item. So you have reached out to us to return it because it didn't work as you had anticipated. We are still accepting of your return for a full refund. And I replied to your email on Friday May 17th, including a copy of that communication below. So I don't know what you are talking about, we have done nothing buy try to help you out, even though you have been using the product for over 6 months now. But it is your satisfaction that we do guarantee, all you need to do is ship the product back to us and I can refund your transaction in amazon.

Also, trustpilot is a third party review solicitation system. The whole point of using trustpilot vs some internal website review system is so people know that reviews are not fabricated or fictitious. Only actual paying customers can leave reviews. We can't buy trustpilot reviews.

Are you using a different name? Where did you make your purchase, please provide your Order ID. I would need that anyways to cover you by warranty and offer you a full refund. Forgive me, but just trying to ensure the order history, as we've had odd attacks against us from competitors in the past trying to damage our reputation. There is a reason we have a 4.9 avg review rating on our website, and it's by no means an accident

Good support

Emailed for assistance on what filter to use, confirmed my assumptions. They came promptly. The only issue was getting them aligned in the filter body but that is not the stores fault.

Got a filter from someone else, yuk.
Water was not drinkable-- just tossed them when your product arrived. Sorry I ever purchased from another company!
Originally bought my RV water filter from you and it has worked great all across this country, no matter what nasty water I put into the system.
