We recently completed on our first property, and we couldn’t have been more impressed with the service we received from Janine, Zoe, and the entire team at Russell & Russell. As first-time buyers, we had heard many horror stories from friends about their experiences with solicitors, but our experience was the complete opposite.

Janine and her team were always responsive, communicative, and easy to reach. No question was ever left unanswered, and they worked tirelessly to ensure everything went smoothly. Even when there were difficulties with the vendor’s solicitors, Janine and her team handled it all diligently and efficiently, keeping us informed every step of the way.

We couldn’t recommend Russell & Russell highly enough and would certainly use them again in the future. Thank you to Janine, Zoe, and the whole team for making the process so stress-free and seamless!

Russell & Russell acted for us in selling our apartment. It turned out to be tricky for a wide variety of reasons but they stuck with it through thick & thin to get our sale done for us. The time & effort they gave us must be far in excess of what they could ever have imagined. But they carried on working diligently & kept us informed every step of the way

Had a good experience with my sale and purchase thanks to Natasha and Emily. There were some delays getting some info from one of the other parties but I was kept updated and always got responses to any queries within a day or two. Everything was set out clearly which made a complex and stressful process easier to understand.

Very disappointed with the service. I was continually contacted by the auction company asking why i had not responded to my solicitors questions when those questions had never been passed on to me. At one point i believe the auction company had been waiting just over a month for their reply and in the middle of that spell i had rang the solicitor to say i was going abroad & did they need any information before i went away and was told no.
Even on the final day i rang to ask did they need anything to be told “they are waiting for draft transfers from the auction company and the sake could miss the date” I wasn’t aware what these were or why they hadn’t contacted me, having spoke to auction house they were furious and said the solicitor had they & they said they would sort with solicitor - low & behold the solicitor asked could i come in to sign (got there within 20 mins).
In addition i got an email two days after the same day to say you had sent me the house date money two days prior - luckily im on the ball and had checked my bank account otherwise that could have caused a problem.

Courteous and prompt with my self being appraised at every stage. Despite the buyer having some reservations about the timeline, I was perfectly happy, whilst not being a regular House seller\buyer, I nether the less accept the correct checks and balances were done with due diligence on my behalf. In the timescale that I envisaged.

We utilised Russell and Russell for the conveyancing of our Family home. The questionnaires and systems were fairly self explanatory, but would benefit from an auto prompt if sections have not been completed. There were some delays to requests for information, but on the whole nothing that I believe held up or delayed the conveyancing process. Good service and would use the service again. The communication was poor; we frequently found ourselves having to chase them for updates, as without that effort, our case would not progress. It was stressful to wait days for a response to something so basic. The team I worked with often replied only after 5 PM, which was quite frustrating.

After discussing experiences with others who used different companies, I learned that their solicitors had an app that integrated milestone tracking and provided regular updates, which seems much better.
