I ordered a climbing rose from Rumwood, and it came quite quickly...Good, so far.
Then downhill as soon as I opened it. Only two weak stems, around 30 leaves, some of which had blackspot.
Contacted their sales department about it, and was not even given the common courtesy of a reply. I normally buy from David Austin, which I will now continue to do in the future. Rumwood are half the price, but very poor quality, so I guess you get what you pay for?

Ordered "Queen Elizabeth" floribunda rose, and delighted (not to say amazed) when it arrived next day, beautifully packed in a sturdy cardboard box. The rose itself, planted in a good-sized 4 litre pot, is a strong and very healthy bush, with abundant, beautiful, spotless, disease-free foliage and a lot of flower buds. Delivery cost was reasonable, and the plant itself is excellent value, a good bit cheaper than some other nurseries' price for the same rose - and I very much doubt any other nursery would have a better quality plant. I will definitely be ordering again.

We ordered a rose from Rumwood Nurseries last week for a relative's 80th birthday. The rose arrived undamaged, looking strong and healthy and well packed in a sturdy cardboard box the next day. We were very pleased indeed with delivery and the condition of the rose etc. until we noticed that it was "Birthday Boy" and not as we had ordered for our female relative "Birthday Girl"
These things happen occasionally at busy times and so we made a telephone call to explain and also say that we needed the rose in the next few days. The person that we spoke to was very helpful and apologetic and promised to send the correct rose out the next working day. We received the correct rose the day after. Again a beautiful healthy well packed rose. This company not only listened to us took immediate appropriate action and went above and beyond. Absolutely excellent customer service! We can totally recommend Rumwood Nurseries and will definitely be using them again ourselves too.

I am most impressed with the potted rose "A Moment in Time" which arrived the day after I ordered it. It was in excellent condition with several flowers in bloom and many more buds ready to open. I will definitely order from Rumwood Nurseries again and highly recommend them.

Ordered a rose as a Christmas present with added gift card with our message on it. It was despatched on the 7th Dec. and was delivered the next morning at 10.15. Excellent service. Recipient of rose very pleased with it. I emailed the company to congratulate them.

I ordered a potted rose for my friend with an apt name to celebrate her obtaining her degree with honors. I was hoping the rose would have flowers on and be in good condition. It arrived by courier two days after I ordered it in a sturdy box with appropriate labels to indicate care in handling. When I removed the box, the rose inside was better than I could have hoped for. It was in excellent condition, was full of beautiful flowers and many buds yet to open and the foliage was in good condition.
I definitely recommend Rumwood Nurseries to anyone wanting to buy a rose.

In today’s world there is not a lot of goodwill. Rumwood Nurseries are most certainly an exception. Last year I purchased two roses “Patricia” in memory of my friend who passed away last November. I gave one to her husband and I planted one in my garden. By the spring mine had died and I was very upset. I contacted Ian who asked me to send him a photo of the rose. It was my fault, I had planted it too deep and below the graft line. Rumwood Nurseries kindly said that they would replace the rose in the Autumn as they didn’t have any left in stock.
Can you imagine how pleased I was to receive a replacement rose this week. Such fantastic goodwill from Rumwood Nurseries and I thoroughly recommend them.

Ordered online two rose bushes. I am delighted with the quality of both. One has a number of buds, both are really healthy. They arrived very well packed and very well watered, which is great considering the heat we are having this week. I will definitely be using again. Fast despatch.
