We just got back from our 11 day Safari trip ALL PLANNED by Rothschild! We were celebrating my 50th birthday and I’ve always wanted to go on a safari. I researched many companies and after speaking many times with Pam Langhoff we decided upon choosing Rothschild to put together our safari trip. Best decision!!! Rothschild made all the arrangements and thought of every detail. I really had no clue about planning a safari. Pam planned everything! Every time someone was there to pick us up or take us to our next destination or see us off. Our guide and safari truck was arranged for us. All the park fees and registrations were already paid for and all the accommodations were booked and paid for and all details explained. Everything was timely and we had full communication with a contact in Africa (because of the time change 8 hours ahead if we needed anything). We even had them book our flights. They do everything and think of everything we had no idea we had to apply for a Tanzania visa.. This company is first class and takes care of every detail. We had no idea about planning and where to go. Pam put together an awesome tailored itinerary for us. We stayed 2 nights in Tarangire National Park in really really cool nice tents, then 3 nights at Gibbs Farm in the Ngorongoro Highlands and went to the crater, then flew to the Serengeti and stayed 3 nights at Serengeti Safari camp in mobile tents!! What an experience! We saw the great migration! I woke up in the Serengeti on my 50th birthday! Pam and Rachel and all the Rothschild staff were easy to work with and ask questions (trust me I had many) they planned a magical trip for my husband and 2 teenagers!! We all agree this was our favorite trip we have ever been on! We will use Rothschild again for sure!

From the first time we spoke to Pam Langhoff at Rothschild Safaris, her main concern was creating exactly the trip that my wife and I wanted. In the end, she helped us do that and more. I have told everyone that has asked that I had completely unfair and unrealistic expectations for our trip and those expectations were exceeded at every turn. Were we to go back again or take any similar trip, I wouldn't consider using anyone else as our planners. As I told Pam during our post-trip debrief, you are the person that helped make our dreams come true! Thank you Rothschild and thank you Pam!

My husband and I just returned from an eight week trip to Africa. Pam Langhoff planned the entire trip for us and did an incredible job. We visited seven countries, which meant a lot of safari decisions and travel arrangements needed to be made. Pam’s recommendations were spot on - we enjoyed a wide variety of national parks/game reserves and avoided redundancies. The landscapes and animals were mind-blowing and there were so many “wow” moments during the trip. When we were in Africa, all the transitions were seamless and Pam’s team was very responsive to our email messages. During the planning process, Pam was very helpful and patient. She paid close attention to what we wanted and her vast knowledge of Africa was so useful.
Like many other travelers, I fell in love with Africa and will definitely use Rothschild Safaris for my next trip. I am confident that they will plan a fantastic vacation and Africa will surpass all my expectations!

My son and I just returned from our trip to Kenya and Rwanda and there are no words to describe what a fabulous experience it was. I told Pam what we wanted to see and do and left the rest to her. Each place she chose had its own charm and was wonderful. When our plane touched down in Nairobi we had someone waiting for us on the tarmac. From that moment on we were taken care of and never left to fend for ourselves. My advice would be to tell Pam what you want and let her take it from there. She and her back up Meggan answered all questions before and during the trip. We had an emergency contact in Africa who contacted us the day we arrived and several times during the trip to be sure things were going smoothly. Don't even think about it. Travel with Rothschild.

Accept the cost of going on safari and go with Rothschild. Everything was perfect!!

The safari was more than I ever imagined it would be! The lodging accommodations were very high end and the tents gave me a taste of what glamping is all about, the food was very good, the itinerary was laid out to space our travel out and the best was our safari guide, Kelvin, booked thru LaMala. He did an excellent job keeping three women happy for 12 days. He spotted numerous animals and we were the “star spotters” calling the other vehicles in to share our sightings. He had many stories about Africa, its people and the animals to share with us. He loves his job and loves to share and teach-his excitement was contagious. I can’t get Africa out of my head! I will have to return!

This was our second time to us Rothschild to book safaris for us. The first time was spectacular. This most recent time we wanted to go to the Mara in Kenya. We had to go in early June so we knew we were missing the Great Migration. Our rep booked us in Offbeat Mara, a 7 tent camp in the North Mara conservatory. For many people this may not have been the best place to go, but for us, it was exactly what we wanted - Private guides, very personal service and incredible animals. The pre-safari hotel in Nairobi was stunning and a bottle of champagne awaited us.
I normally NEVER use travel agents. However, for a safari, I do, and it is Rothschild.

Rothschild Safaris planned our recent trip to South Africa and Zambia. It was our first trip to this part of the world and it certainly won't be our last. Everything was incredible!! From the beginning discussions to checking in prior to our leaving, to contacting us upon our return, Rothschild wanted to provide a unique and memorable experience, and they did not disappoint. We had wonderful guides and adventures in Cape Town, a breath-taking safari in Sabi Sands, and an amazing time in Zambia seeing Victoria Falls, but also all the activity on the mighty Zambezi river. Every place we stayed was just perfect. I can't say enough wonderful praises for Rothschild. Thank you for a memorable, magical trip!
