I ordered a Strimmer. It was the best price on the net. I had an email saying that due to the volume of orders, dispatches had been unavoidably delayed.
I phoned to either cancel or speed up the order because I was going away for the weekend on Friday and the Strimmer could potentially be sitting on my doorstep in the rain for 4 days. I phoned on Tuesday.
Whoever I spoke to was amazing. He went out of his way to ensure that dispatches were aware, it was given priority and would be sent the following morning by Fed Ex and arrive the day after on Thursday. It did. I was really impressed with the personal service I received. Thankyou

Used this company because of good Trust Pilot responses. Sadly our experience less than favourable. Strimmer purchased 7 March 2026 with initial delivery date given as 12 March. Nothing on FedEx web site so called R Smith who stated 'being packed today' will be with you tomorrow - 13th. Nothing. Phoned again then some progress as 'Sam' got hold of the situation and investigated - came back and said strimmer still in warehouse had been overlooked, 'don't know why' - not been picked up. He would make sure it went out on Friday 13th but no weekend deliveries so get it on Monday 16th. Just arrived at 13.28pm. What a disappointing saga.

Clear information about the machinery, on the telephone and when to expect delivery - which was actually a day earlier than the expected day. So Ron Smith seems a very good firm. However, Fed Ex was disappointing: we couldn't actually track the delivery in real time on line, delivery was made on a showery day, and the package left outside, not under cover, so it became wet. It seems that the FedEx driver didn't bother to come up the steps to ring the front door bell, so we didn't know that machine had arrived and couldn't put it under cover.
