Le véhicule correspondait à la taille que nous attendions. Cependant, nous avons rencontré plusieurs problèmes peu agréables :
- manque de place pour le passager (impossible de mettre ses 2 jambes dans l'axe du fauteuil)
- véhicule très bruyant (moteur et vibrations)
- autonomie : 2 jours maximum eau, eau grise, eau noire. 1 jour de batterie (sans rouler) car le frigo pompe toute l'énergie dans les régions chaudes. Gaz 3 semaines mais peu utilisé en chauffage.
- Différents problèmes de plomberie rencontrés, nécessitant même une réparation durant notre séjour.
- Problème au niveau du stockage de l’eau. Le camping car perdait en moyenne 1/3 de sa capacité en roulant.
- L'arrière du véhicule touche le sol à chaque entrée de station essence ou de parking.
Les bons points :
- Le Sav est assez réactif par mail.
- Le pays est adapté à ces gros véhicules
- Plein de beaux souvenirs en mémoire !

We had a perfect time with our RV rental. Super clean, luxurious and no issues whatsoever. Para was amazing with check in and check out! He’s quick and efficient but also explains how to drive and operate the RV very thoroughly. I will definitely rent from Road Bear Agora Hills again! It’s the only location that I trust.

I love this place. It is my favorite to rent an RV from them. They have great customer service.

Everything went so smoothly from pick up to drop off. RV was perfect and we really enjoyed. Will rent from Road Bear again!!!

We picked up our RV from the Los Angeles centre for an 18 night adventure ending in Las Vegas.

Cost wise, I had compared to various other companies and Road Bear seemed about on par with others and cheaper than some. I also read that they tended to have newer vehicles than their stable mate El Monte.

We picked up our RV, christened Roy and were given a comprehensive walk through of the various systems and functions. All the staff at LA were really friendly and I have no criticism there.

Roy had a slide out which as the days progressed turned out was a huge bonus as it creates so much more space inside.

Having travelled from the UK, we obviously opted for bedding etc. to be included. This included two comforters with covers, two double sheets and 2 pillows? Everything supplied was clean. The pillows supplied were terrible. They were an inch thick polyester and were awful. We purchased a couple of cheap pillows from Walmart. There were no additional blankets. As it turns out we were very grateful for the 2 comforters as we had some extremely cold nights at various points.

The basic pots, pans and cutlery were adequate. There was a stove top kettle, which is a bonus for us brits and our need to boil water to make tea. There was also a coffee pot

Internally, Roy had suffered some wear and tear and the floor was a bit marked from
Previous use but nothing terrible.

In the rear was a couple of fold out camp chairs which were worn but serviceable and a picnic table which we never used.

Roy performed faultlessly over our 1700 mile trip. One thing I had not thought about was gas mileage and at an average of 10.7 miles to the gallon, Roy was quite thirsty. With gas prices ranging from $4.10 to $4.60 over the trip, Roy and his 55 gal tank cost the best part of $200 each refill.

On our second day it occurred to me that we had not been given the WiFi/4G single that was included in our package.

With some very cold nights and to wake up and put Roy’s furnace on to warm the RV and even used the air con one day.

We had an absolute blast on our trip and it was a sad last day when we headed to Vegas to return Roy.

Sadly, on that day, a passing Semi kicked up a stone which hit our windshield resulting an a big chip which developed into a crack as we bounced along some of the worse bits of I15.

Luckily I had opted for the Platinum package as this covered the windshield (apparently the collision related “insurance” package doesn’t so I did not get hit for a potentially significant cost there. I would strongly recommend this to anyone travelling with an RV (or car for that matter) in the these western states as many major roads are in terrible condition and there are construction trucks dropping stones everywhere.

We dropped our RV at Las Vegas. This is a much bigger Center than LA and again the staff were all very nice. I took. Look at their various displays they had showing the linen packages etc (something not present in LA) and everything looked a bit nicer than what we were equipped with and the bedding seemed to include blankets?

Happily, they confirmed that the windshield damage was covered (phew) by the Platinum package. They gave me a small “refund” for the missing WiFi dongle which was a bonus as this was included as a “freebie” with platinum package

We waved a sad farewell to Roy who I’m sure will be back on the road soon for some new adventures.

Overall, I have no significant criticism of Road Bear the staff or Roy. Yes, there were a couple of minor things (eg pillows were rubbish) but all the big things were absolutely fine. I wish things like the extras (platinum patch, VIP insurance etc. etc.) were a bit easier to understand but the information is there even if it’s a bit buried. Make sure you understand what is/is not covered - that goes for all of the RV companies as some include things in the base price that are extra with others etc. Road Bear staff were all helpful and friendly

One thing Roadbear and others could offer is on the road online chat support. As an overseas traveller I use a eSIM which gives me data but no call minutes so contacting on road support via phone doesn’t work. One to think about.

The staff and service was incredible. They made the process so easy.

We enjoyed our Road Bear RV. We booked a smaller version of what we received and had some white knuckle situations driving around California. The RV had good quality but it was kind of loud while driving. We almost had to yell at each other on the road. Unfortunately I had a problem that the main awning was torn off the second morning. We contacted the road side assitence twice, on the same day it happened and about a week later. We would told to replace the awning. So the rest of our „vacation“ was dealt with finding a company to repair the awning. And worries about if it could be repaired by the end of our trip. Road side assistence made us feel guilty and didn‘t offer help about solving this problem. By the end of our booked RV trip, one part of the awning was in the vehicle, the other part would be sent directly to Road Bear LAX. The LAX Road Bear manager Mr. Mirsaeidi helped us with our concerns and offered us information that our extra insurance we paid for at pick-up covered the awning and that the road side assistence gave us the wrong information. We were very happy that he helped us while returning the RV. It was a heavy burdon on our shoulders most of our trip. We enjoyed our RV trip with our Road Bear RV. We did not enjoy Road Bear‘s road side assistence!

The Personnel at my rental location were WONDERFUL and so helpful!

Great, comfortable and well fitted RV. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely use again!

Very Clean and ready for the adventure. Had a blast getting away for a few days. We will be back. :)

Great service ran like a dream just a few suggestions. Make it easier to cast to the tv. Connex does not work well with IOS. Secure the grate on the stove top and ensure it doesn’t rattle. Give a list of local propane providers so you can easily fill up before return. Tank gauges would be nice. Maybe a later return option.

Isaiah the manager was awesome and made the whole experience great! The rv was great. We had some minor issues but Isiah helped without hesitation! I will definitely be back!

I was extremely happy with my experience! I had to change my trip dates and distance and they accommodated me without issues. The staff that assisted me was very nice at the pick up/ drop off location. The RV was immaculately clean and only had minor like very minor wear and tear. It was my first time traveling in an RV and it was so easy to operate. I will definitely consider using again in the future!

Very nice and functional RV, great service during the pick up, not so great during the return. A lot of small taxes and fees that add up that we found unecessary
