Authentic Roman cuisine right next to the Vatican!

We stopped by Ristorante Da Marcello at Borgo Pio 87 after visiting St. Peter's Square, and it was easily one of the best meals we had in Rome! You can truly taste the traditional Roman culinary heritage in every dish. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the pizza had a fantastic crust, and the seafood was super fresh. Despite being so close to the Vatican, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely authentic rather than touristy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for real Italian food in the heart of Rome!
