Had difficulty finding a professional company who could carry out the work we required on our 2 apartments. Found Riskfire and cannot recommend them high enough. They are profesional, helpfull and their workmanship is exceptional, we cannot believe that once you get the right company involved what appeared impossible is easy.

Our block of 4 flats required to get work done upgrading / modifying doors to comply with the up-to-date, legal requirements of Fire Safety Regulations. We wanted a qualified company (IFC Certified) who would supply compliant replacement items and fit them properly but not charge us inflated prices. It wasn't an easy search. I was surprised to see the workman, stripping the paint from channels where the fire/smoke strips were originally placed. He said that strips have to be attached to unpainted wood now. Some companies might not bother to do the job right as the area was hidden with new strips.
The IFC certificate they supply after work is completed, gives us peace of mind that our doors are in compliance with the up-to-date regulations and our building is safer. Thank you Gary & George

It took me quite a while to actually find a company that completed fire door repairs after trying several companies who advertised that they did but when contacted did not. From initial contact withe Riskfire to completion of the work they were helpful and professional. They were very efficient and completed the job in very good time from booking to final report. The work is of a very good standard and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with fire doors, or fire door repairs.

A very stress free interaction for one where the communication with the office was purely through email. Gary was prompt in replying to enquiries and questions. George the joiner was charming and friendly. He left the area dust free and tidy at conclusion of the work. I would recommend Risk Fire Ltd to others.

Excellent service- really good communication from the very first contact. The joiner did a thorough assessment on my front door and made all of the necessary repairs- even vacuumed up after himself, I am very happy with the results.

I needed the front door of my flat brought up to code along with most of the doors in the building. I decided to find an independent rather than go with the centrally recommended one who seemed expensive.

FireRisk quoted a more reasonable price and sent Marv who had only been at the company a few weeks but was an experienced hire specialising in fire doors. He reshaped the door, replaced the seals, installed a drop bar, a closer and replaced the hinges. Work is good quality and the materials use seem better than the work on other door with similar work done in the block. No significant costs added despite some additional work on the seals.

Very happy with the work - would recommend.

Having been ghosted by two contractors previously and on a tight deadline the service from Riskfire was a breath of fresh air. My fire door issue was dealt with promptly, to a high standard and in a friendly manner. I am very happy with the outcome.

Ben was very thourough and helped in any way he could - he left me all new fire extinguishers and serviced them too.

RiskFire were instructed by us on a large PBSA where another contractor had incorrectly installed fire stopping, and there were omissions. The company efficiently reviewed a Compartmentation Survey, reported on works required in a easy to read schedule, attended site within a reasonable time and provided the appropriate documentation afterwards. The invoices have been accurate, communication has been really good. As a Development Manager for a large portfolio of Nationwide properties I can only wish that all the contractors and consultants that I deal with were like this team.
