I have had a $300 Revvi card for…

I have had a $300 Revvi card for several years. I opened the card in Texas, moved to a Northern state and recently moved to a new location. I have been put through one of the biggest scams with this company! I have sent proof several times of my new location including a power bill showing the address. Here is the kicker- they send me the monthly statement to the new address but refuse to allow me to use my card and have even recently- cancelled my card due to "not being able to in their words" validate my new address!" This would be funny if it were not incredibly SCAM oriented! Run away from this card!! If you are desperate enough to accept a poorly managed company all for a $300 credit card- you will only be adding to your pain and frustration with this low-rate company and all its hacks! Save yourself a lot of stress and just save your own money to use on food, gas or personal items- avoid the headache!!!

Terrible Company

Terrible Company, they do not process their own payments seem to use a foreign call center for Custom service there payment processing company call CCPAY delayed a payment twice and caused the payment to be return as they sat on it and my bank processed another payment as a result the payment was returned and it cost me a Fee of $41.00 which i promptly played in 2 days with a different bank card debit card DO NOT DO ACH WITH THIS COMPANY I had already lost my wallet prior to this and they were supposed to send a new card they never did called them out on it they stated my account was restricted today i got a letter stating they closed my account even after i corrected the payment claimed i has a foreign address LOL are you kidding me stay away from these loan sharks and there 35 percent interest rate

I don't even have a Revvi account but…

I don't even have a Revvi account but my husband (who passed away on June 1st) has/had one! I sent them a copy of his death certificate (getting ready to send another) but they keep calling about past due payments! I called them this morning and I was on the warpath! This company thinks that maybe either I'm going to give them money (I'm not) or his ashes sitting in his urn are going to! I'm going to do everything in my power to bring this company down!

Late fee

So, I made my payment on time and was still charged a late fee. I called Revvi and they said they put a "work order" in to credit my late fee back to me. However, they could not tell me when it would happen. They said "call back from time to time and see if it was approved" . I can not believe this! They can just take your money and hold indefinitely until they decided to give it back or not. This is totally unacceptable! I'm furious. What's the point in paying on time? You get a late fee anyway, late or not!

I do not even want to give them one star. First off they froze my card for fraudulent activity, no clue it how this was even true, I then spoke to someone had to get a new card, expedited it. They said three days, ok this was around 4th of July. So problem was I had made a payment, it just sat there because of the card issues. So I called them how are you supposed to make a payment on an account you didn’t know had supposed fraud activity? Well I didn’t get my card in 3 days. I called again, they refunded the 35 dollar fee and the 30 late fee because I didn’t tell them to send a new card. This was 2 weeks ago, today I get a letter in the mail for fraudulent payments and they are closing my account. Ok now I’m really pissed, like that payment should have been applied in may, I didn’t make a payment in June because I didn’t have access to a card number or an account. So now after all of their bs I am working so hard to correct my credit for y’all to do what? I’m telling anyone who reads this, I work for h and r block and if you use their services their tax identity shield services are a life saver! I have been sent an email for every suspicious credit pull or reference on my account since I have had this card. And I will be reporting them to the BBB.

BAD CREDIT CARD

I HAD REVVI CREDIT CARD FOR OVER A YEAR , NEVER INCREASE MY CREDIT CARD NOR MISSED ANY PAYMENTS OR LATE . THEY CHARGE YOU ANNAUALLY FEES BUT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR LIMITED I BELIEVED THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY .

Worst card application experience

I applied and they asked for more information. I sent sensitive documents to them for review. No one ever updated me! Then my application was withdrawn because the time limit was up! No explanation or anything! I was told to reapply? Wow!

This is similar to a drug dealer tactic company. They charge more in fees then they allow you in credit. 95 to open them 75 for an annual fee that they dont tell you about. Run from this company. They are only out to steal from you burn 500 if you get this card and the 300 dollar limit

Worst card ever

First off, when you call because you have an issue, the representative can never help you. They then recommend that you call back, but why should I have to do that? You ask to speak to a supervisor and you will be on hold for several minutes at a time. After each 10-minute interval, the person comes back and says they can't reach them and asks if they can put you on a brief hold from 1 to 10 minutes. Again, you wait 10 minutes and they repeat the same thing. This continues several times before you finally speak to someone. Once you have spoken to the supervisor, they still cannot help you.

I called and asked them if they could remove one late payment. I've had the card for over 2 years and had one late payment by mistake and asked if they could remove it as a courtesy. They told me I have to write a letter to request the removal, which is fine. However, during this conversation, the person on the phone ordered me a new card and charged me an expedited fee of $35. I never ordered a new card; I didn't need a new card. The card arrived in the mail exactly as I had it in my wallet, with the same expiration date and card number. If I had lost a card with that number and expiration date, why would you send me the same card? Somebody out there could have the information if it were lost or stolen.

Then, they refuse to take off the $35 fee even though I did not speak to anyone about replacing the card and incurring an expedited charge. It's a real rip-off. Do not get this card; you will end up with too many charges and no help.

I opened this card 2 months ago with no problem, the only wait time was getting the actual card. Made my first payment ahead of schedule all was fine again. Made my second payment now all of a sudden they want to hold that money and tell me theres a 14 day hold for processing! Why? The month before I made the payment no problems and it was posted 3 days later with an available credit balance... I was told I could expedite the process by giving them a copy of the bank statement showing the funds were paid out.. They can't even tell me when I called back for the 4th time if they even received the bank statement I sent them! It's policy, it's policy is all i kept hearing like a broken record.. Customer service says absolutely nothing helpful, not even sure why they have that service in the first place. You also can't get to talk to anyone beyond a customer service rep. No one higher for some reason...

Not the best option for subprime credit cardholders

I have had this card for about three or four months and now my card is suspended because I moved to Mississippi on May 3rd and after I got here I changed my address on the app and next thing I know I have no available credit. I called the bank and they told me that they had put a hold on my account because of an address change. Said I needed to upload or send a bank statement, utility bill or a lease to prove I had actually moved. So I went to my new bank and got something with my new address on it and emailed it to Revvi. Like I told the agent I just moved and didn't have any statements yet or bills but they didn't care and they wouldn't budge on lifting the hold. Since May 9th I have called several times only to be told that they are still processing my documents and today they said there was no specific timeframe for completing the verification process. The other time I called I was told that it should be done in like 3-5 business days. What's ironic is that they sent me a letter to my new address. So if they aren't sure about my move then why even bother sending me a letter to that address? This company has terrible customer service and you have to pay a $95 program fee and on top of that you pay an annual fee that I believe is like $75. I have always made my payments on time but what does it matter if they won't let me use my card? I am thinking about closing the account after I pay the card off.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever, someone stole my card number it took me 2 weeks to actually get a person who understood English. The only help was the fraud dept once I got thru to them. 300$ limit this is a horrible card with horrible customer service. Wrote a letter to them in reference to all the above and to this day still no response at all .

I’m extremely disappointed with Revvi and the way they handle business. I just got this credit card and made a payment on it right away—only to have my account restricted for no clear reason. I take my financial responsibilities seriously and have proof that my payment cleared, yet I was still embarrassed when my card was declined at the grocery store with no warning.

What makes it worse is the complete lack of communication. No email, no phone call, no text—nothing. I actually had to call to find out what was going on and when I did I was asked to send my bank statement and a bank letter just to prove my account is legitimate. This is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary stress for a customer who is doing everything right.

I do not recommend this company to anyone. If you want reliability, respect, and proper communication—look elsewhere.

Not Happy at all

Not Happy at all. Was told I was approved all I needed to do was pay the 95$ fee and card would be on the way. I received nothing in regular mail, had been looking for my card in the mail. Just happened to be checking my email, days later, and found a Revvi email requesting additional documents. This should have been done BEFORE they took my money and said I was good to go. I used my last bit of money to pay this fee am broke and no card and no telling per customer service when I will get it, IF I DO. 5 Days is all I'm waiting, then if nothing? I want a refund. VERY MISLEADING. No, no fee charge until I am totally approved, despite being told I was simply pay the fee. Im very mad and feel tricked. Scammed.

I have had this card for a year with no problems the all of a sudden a fraudulent charge shows up and I am responsible for it. There is no company with the name on my statement, but I am told I made the purchase. Never use this company.

The customer service is really bad I called and made a payment on my review card and a few days later they said the payment had been returned which I know is a lie because there was money in the account that I used to pay it with they put my account on restriction so I made another payment and it cleared just fine but they are still saying my account is on restriction for 30 days what a joke I have had this card for over a year and have never been late with payments it should not be on restriction these coustomer representatives are not helpful don’t get a revvi card ever.

I never sign up for this card and now I have the shit on my credit and tried to dispute it and getting the ran around. I don't even use the name it's in and the creditor that picked it up keeps calling expecting me to pay for a card I NEVER received. The mail boxes at my place keep getting broken into around the time it this shit happen. Oct 2023

Total SCAM

I feel like this card targets people with bad credit then exploits their situation. I signed up for this card well over a month ago. Once I was accepted, I was notified that there would be a $95.00 service fee, that I immediately paid. Pretty soon as I waited and waited for my card to show up, I got a text telling me that I was late on a payment for my Revvi card!? Confused I called customer service and the rep I spoke with informed me that the payment was for the annual fee to which I replied I haven’t even received my card yet, he also said that I ordered a custom card, which I specifically and deliberately did not do, long story short this guy just told me what I wanted to hear and acted like he took care of everything and that I didn’t have to make any payments until after I had received and activated my card. Well turns out he just flat out lied to me. I just got another late payment text and this time when I called the girl said basically I am late on my payment for the card I don’t even physically possess yet, and there’s nothing she can do to help me and basically there’s nothing I can do about it… But I am going to do something, I’m going to cancel this nightmare card now and attempt to get my “service fee” reimbursed. I’m not very optimistic about it but at least I’m getting out of this scam card earlier rather than later… Please do yourself a favor and explore other options, because Revvi card is basically a total scam!!!

Update I just finally had a decent call with customer service, and that was just to get my account closed and get the service fee reversed, not sure but possibly went that way because I was recording the call and I let them know that I was, but the girl I spoke with said that she closed my account and that I should get the service fee back in 10 to 14 days so we’ll see. But whatever you do do not sign up for Revvi card!!! And don’t just take my word, go ahead and read all these other reviews…
