I really wanted to like this company…

I really wanted to like this company but unless you like writing emails that do not get replied to and keeping your shoes in the post and not on your feet this is not a company to be doing business with.
Experience #1 sent shoes in for repair they were returned without some work being carried out (pull up at the rear not replaced) and the soles were not glued correctly so exhibited holes where toe crease is TLDR sent back and forth numerous time until I tired of not having shoes so service was paid for shoes never repaired\restored still have holes and Revivo has my money!
Experience #2 Brought as new off road SG shoes that developed holes in circa 5 runs emailed Revivo was advised to send pictures which has been done now radio silence for 5 days this company has had a lot of my time and money in return I have nothing and will need to buy more running shoes so that I can actual go out and run

Disapointing customer support

I cannot get over how poor the customer support is. Incredibly hard to get in touch with, slow responses, no consistency in messages and to top it all off the email address they provide in the order to contact if there are any issues doesn't work/ bounces!

Return Scams

If you want a return dont expect your money back, they are quick to send information that is "wrong" then when you send the package, they will claim that you have not shipped the right pappers. just dont buy shoes from them in the first place.

Empty box

Just received my order. An empty box. What a total waste of time. Now I’ll have to waste more time chasing up what the hell has happened with this order.

They are at best negligent and at worst thieves

I ordered the refurb for some shoes that gained a hole in the soul. They never sent me the information I needed to send the shoes to them. I called up and they said that they would send another link with the codes but they have not. I have checked my spam and deleted for this. This is a scam and it makes vivo look awful because the only thing that got me to buy vivo shoes to begin with was the fact I could resole them at a reasonable price.

Excellent shoes - arrived quicjly

I bought a pair of Magna SG Women’s. I already had one pair of Novus trainers from Vivobarefoot so decided to try Revivo.
I love them, they were in perfect condition , they arrived promptly and no issues at all.
They keep me upright through thick mud and keep my feet warm and dry trekking the fields and woods nearby. I’m looking forward to trying them in the hills to see how they fair.

Returns process is woeful

we have bought vivo shoes many times, and i have no issues, so we thought we would try revivo. Never again! We had to return 2 pairs of shoes as they didn't fit (too small, even though they were a uk size 7, the same as other shoes which did fit) The shoes were returned as directed by revivo, and after 17 days, i still do not have a refund. When I do get a response to my various attempts at contacting them, i am told they are still in transit!!!! 17 days and they still don't have the parcel, i despair! I will not be using this company again, and my advice would be, to be aware of the length of time it takes, and lack of updates, on any return you may have.

Expensive time-wasting returns process

The shoes themselves, like those bought from the main Vivo site, are variable - I’ve had one pair that are brilliant, one pair ripped my feet to shreds because they are too narrow and one pair that are unwearable, which I am returning. The thing to note is that although the website implies that you can return for a full refund, you will only be refunded the cost of the shoe, not the delivery charge. In addition, you will be directed to a portal that uses DHL and charges nearly £10.00. I emailed them to request a different return method and they sent me a link to Rebound, which uses Royal Mail at a much more reasonable cost of £4.10. However, with the delivery charge that still means I’m £11.10 out of pocket. So definitely not a full refund.

just got my beautifully repaired Fulham…

just got my beautifully repaired Fulham boots back from Revivo repair. I was expecting the repair to take weeks but the turn around was fast and it's a beautiful job. This is my third repair with them and they've all been good. This will keep these boots going for a few more years and I'm really pleased that this service is available. Thank you Revivo repair.

Its a lucky dip, If any problems or complaints they don't care

Ordered 2 pairs of shoes, one at great and one at Good. The good pair were very good, they look new and don't show any wear or repairs, but the Great pair which were supposed to be better had stains all over, what looks like red/orange tomato sauce dripped all over the toe of one, visible dark scuffs all over the sides and around the tongue and top of the shoe.
Not the condition described in great, I have tried to contact them several times as i feel it was listed in the wrong condition and £100 for a pair of trainers in that state is not on, no response at all. They don't care about customer satisfaction, once they have your money you won't hear from them no matter what.

So you are getting a lucky dip, if they are good then great, but the quality can be poor and the customer service is non existent so you are taking quite a big risk as they are still expensive shoes.

Full refund not full

Revivo on the website says that returns are cost of the client and the following statement:
"If you are not totally satisfied with your Revivo order or change your mind within 28 days, you can return your shoes for a full refund. Items must be returned in the original condition they were purchased and customers are responsible for the return shipping fee. Please allow 14 working days from the date your return is posted for your refund to be processed.

Please note, we do not include returns forms in our EU orders to reduce waste. To return your order follow the process below."

The returns were at my cost and the refund was only the value of the shoes, not the shipping costs. So what is a full refund? Full refund of the shoes itself? The shipping is included in the refund, not the return shipping.

Just awful

Just awful. I ordered two weeks ago, was told dispatch would be within 4working days.
After 7 days I decided to email as hadn't heard anything. No reply. On days 8 I call as still no word and starting think I've been scammed. The number on uk Revivo website takes me through to Vivo in Germany, who can't help because they're a different company. I find another number and am put through to Vivo in the uk. Who also can't help as different company, but can at least ask Revivo to contact me urgently.

Day 9 I receive an email from revivo (they have no way of being contacted by phone) saying the warehouse are trying to locate my order and I'll be updated shortly.

It's now day 14. My requests for a refund are being ignored. There's no one to complain to. Vivo can't help other than emailing revivo to nudge them.

They have my money, and who knows if they have the shoes or not.

This is an utter sham of a company. As far as I can see they seem to be a way fit Vivo to money launder.

AVOID!

Returns process is utter Sh*te

Ordering from the site was fine.

The return process is awful though. You have to use DHL at a cost of nearly £10 for the return. Impossible to arrange pickup as the waybill number and account number they provide do not work either.

I have to travel about 10 miles to drop the parcel off.

Revivo: Never Again

I really like the idea of Revivo, but the won't be using them ever again.

I bought two pairs of Primus Lite Knit, EU46/UK 11.5 and EU45/UK11, both in excellent condition (I'm between sizes: Ra III 11.5 are great but Primus Lite III in 11.5 are too big and needed returned via Amazon) with free postage and arrived in huge individual cardboard boxes. The website states the shoes will be posted via UPS, but they were actually sent through Royal Mail using the 48 hours tracked service, which I had to chase up as I wasn't sent any tracking information after my order was processed.

The larger size seem to fit fine, and the shoes are in, well, excellent condition - all good? No dear reader, all is not well.

The returns portal (using DHL) deducts £9.78 from the refund amount, but can only be used at a central DHL office and not a DHL Servicepoint (think handy cornershop) which I found out having traveled across town with the mammoth cardboard box (i.e., really inconvenient).

Then there are the email interchanges I've been having. The website states issues will be addressed within 48 hours - this means you'll get an utterly generic response within two days and not a resolution. Your case number will be updated, or changed rather than the issue being addressed.

I've asked Revivo to cancel the DHL returns process, and confirm the returns delivery address so I can send the smaller size shoes back to them via Royal Mail - at half the price - given the service is deemed adequate for posting in the first place.

After this I have now found out that I'll have a few months to wait for the refund to come through. Winner.

Great shoes but terrible service.

I paid €130 for a pair of Magna Trail II runners from Revivo, within 6 months there are multiple splits in the toe areas of the shoes, I messaged customer service and they say that since the shoes were purchased more than 6 months ago there's nothing that they can do. I really thought that a company that cares about sustainability would want to help their customers repair their shoes and keep them going for longer. I'm happy to pay a fee but really surprised and disappointed by how I was treated, I'm going to have to buy a new pair of shoes and can't go back to Vivo.

Excellent delivery and excellent service.

I wanted to add a review on this site because of the large number of negative reviews. To be honest, if I'd read them before buying from revivo, I would have declined. I'm glad I didn't. The shoes arrived promptly, even though they were sent from abroad, and they were in excellent shape considering they were categorised as 'Good'. They'd clearly been re-soled but that's fine; that's the point of the whole endeavour! It's environmentally excellent. I am very happy with their service. Thank you, Revivo!
