Quality product quality service

I recently used Retrolize to help fix a fault with my Sega Dreamcast, and I’m really pleased with the service I received.

The console itself was still working, but there was an issue somewhere on the controller board. Steve spent a lot of time troubleshooting and investigating the problem, trying a number of different approaches to get to the root of it. It was clear he put genuine effort into resolving the fault rather than rushing to a quick fix.

Communication throughout was clear and friendly, which made the whole process straightforward and reassuring.

In the end, the issue seems to have been resolved and my Dreamcast is now working as it should. It’s great to have it back in proper working order again.

If you need help with retro console repairs, I’d definitely recommend Retrolize—especially if you’re dealing with a more awkward or hard-to-pin-down fault.

Retrolize fixed the batteries in some Gameboy cartridges which were a birthday present, that I guess CEX didn't think to test the save feature for.

Replacing them would have been quite expensive because, besides the copies I bought, I could only find listings for them with the original manual and/or box included, and the drives the price up quite a bit.

So Retrolize were able to save the day for quite a lot less money than if I'd been forced to buy the games again in near mint condition.

Really happy with Retrolize! I had a gameboy battery replacement and a N64 controller purchase and everything was shipped super fast and in perfect condition. Communication was superb and I will definitively be buying from them again!

The OLED screens are amazing and give so much detail even for old games.
The rechargeable battery has great life. And they have put warning light on the bottom of the handset to give you plenty of notice to save your game. Another GBC i have just cuts out.

What an absolutely amazing service! I sent 2 PS2 consoles in to be fully recapped, and the service could not have been better! Communication was great and I was kept informed at all stages of the process, and even with a tricky recap for one of the consoles, it was all completed and shipped back out to me.
