Solicit business by random calls at 4AM in the morning !!!!! Just as bad as duct cleaning services!!!

Reliable, professional, efficient and very helpful.

Has to be by far the worst agency I ever had to deal with. I was living abroad at the time and all It started when they tried to scam me. They told me I needed to pay £175 for a new toilet seat. They only needed to fit it back on the toilet seat as it came loose. So I got someone to fix it myself for £35 (which I paid for myself, and they didn’t give me the money back). It was at this point, I was a bit suspicious about the company practices, so I would research everything from this point.

The tenants also created mould on my wall which needed to be cleaned and fixed. They cut a big hole in my wall and they lost the plaster they cut out the wall. So it needed to be replaced and now you can see a big square cut out in the wall, so they didn’t do a good job of that.

They also paid for a cleaner to clean the mould. But when I asked for the invoice. I checked the address and called the number on top. The address didn’t exist. It was registered to another company. And when I called the cleaner.

At this point, I was very angry, and I just wanted my apartment back. So when their tenancy ended. I went to collect the keys, they instructed me that I needed to wait for a report to be done so I can claim any money for repairs (which is fine). But they failed to tell me that if I collected the keys, they cannot get the cleaner in. They could have told me this when collecting the keys. But they didn’t.

Also, the “students” who were living in my apartment didn’t pay any of their bills. There was a court order for the students to pay £1300+ in council tax fees. I don’t know how this could happen. They didn’t pay their energy bills or water bills.

So if you do go with this agency. Make sure you check which companies they use to fix issues l, cleaning, etc. Make sure you are paying the correct amount and make sure they are legitimate. They don’t care for your your issues, they just look for ways to make money.

I highly recommend Christa from rentlife. She was very responsive during my application process and followed up with any maintenance issues that needed to be fixed after moving in. The best and most responsive agent I've had in all my years. She works with you, is great at communicating with you, and is very professional. She did her best to respond for any questions or concerns, even after the office was closed.

I recently moved to an apartment in Birmingham using rentlife agency , I had met Christa Forrester , she is amazing at her job , she was on time , clear with all her instruction and was very professional in her attitude. She made sure all my queries were addressed. The reposit scheme is an excellent a;lternate to deposit. I am very happy with the service till now .
