I have recently had Solar Panels and BAttery Storage provide and fitted by RHE. I cannot fault the service I received. They were professional throughout the process and the communication was excellent. The handover of the app to control the solar panel was thorough and they were on hand with all the little queries I had, nothing was too much trouble. I am extremely happy especially with the savings I am now getting the benefit from. I have reduced my outgoings for energy by more than half.

Had an air source heat pump installed by them in September 2024 , a problem was evident by November and i contacted them concerning a .loud vibration and noise . since then i have made contact with head office on numerous occasions and been promised an engineer would visit . An engineer was due to be here This morning but a phone call last evening told me that no engineer would attend unless i was willing to have an early service costing £300 .

Total nightmare from start to finish (which Started April 2024 and we are still fighting to get back monies lost as at October 2024) They initially got the date wrong despite writing it down correctly, and I sat at home for a wasted day, along with husband, which I had to take off work. When they did come the electrician didn't know what he was doing and took our solar panel meter away totally unnecessarily, without replacement, meaning not only 2 days installation time loss of solar fit payments (which should have taken only 1 day but he couldn't work the system out) but also 2 weeks of loss of solar fit monies as we had no proof of solar production. This was repaid by the company, but when eventually a meter was put back in, after 2 months of us emailing and ringing company, we then lost another 2 weeks solar fit payments - total £350 estimated, which we have STILL not been able to recover. I did inform the company at the start (2 days after installation) that there appeared to be no correct readings for the solar, as I know how much they should have been (I've been recording all readings for last 13 years), but was not only told that obviously I didn't understand the system, but that I was inebriated(!) at the time he explained the system to me (I was in fact suffering from Covid and had taken lemsip but was very unwell and tired). Not only was my husband rudely spoken to by the owner of the company who told us 'just pay £1000 and we will take the whole system away if you don't like it' then slammed the phone down, it has taken months to get sorted which could have been done way back at the beginning if this company had listened to us. I would NEVER EVER deal with this company again, and suggest they employ people who understand existing solar systems before trying to add battery backups. The only plus side I can think of is that the initial salesman was very pleasant, not pushy at all and tried to support us throughout our nightmare ordeal which to be honest has been very stressful, and we were not adequately compensated for the hours of time we have had to spend to sort out their mess, but after months of haggling we have just given up.

Had appointment today and Martin Loran arrived on time.
Had a very knowledgeable conversation with Martin who explained everything, saw that I was walking with a stick and I explained that I am not registered as disabled but waiting on hospital as I may need operation, so we have to possibly change things around the house.
So any money we have will go into the house for me.
Martin was very understanding and said it was beneficial at this stage and said to look to us in the future left me his card and left all smiles and wished us the best.

My parents used this company to have their loft insulated with spray foam. and they have just found out, as they are in the process of selling their house, that it is a major problem and it will be unmortgageable. A surveyor went around to look at it. They are looking after research at a cost of £17,000 to have it removed. Incredibly upsetting.

Do not install spray foam insulation whatever you’re told. This company coerced my elderly mother into installing this product telling her they were giving her a favourable price when they weren’t. I realised at the time this was going to cause issues when she sold her house. They became quite threatening when I queried the payment but we had to pay as I was worried about what they might do. The director is quite unpleasant. Move forward a few months and she had to have it removed to sell her house. The first sale fell through so she lost money. It’s a shame we had to get her money back for the installation and removal from the credit card company rather than these culprits. All in all a very stressful time. They prey on the elderly and vulnerable. Be warned.

Very good experience all sorted in a few hours with no mess.

After having had a cowboy builder in who had left us with so many problems to sort out, we were sceptical about ever trusting anybody or anyone else ever again.
Being disabled isn't easy.!!!
Martin came and discussed with us about having our attic insulated and all about this concept. Still unsure about this, there was no pressure and we asked questions and were shown videos.
Still sceptical we agreed but to be honest I still wasn't sure. The day the guys came I still had my doubts ( I mean who wouldn't after the experience we had just gone through)!!! The guys were great talked it through with us again, they were polite, clean and very kind..
After they had gone we asked Martin to get the guys back again as we felt it needed a bit more doing to it. There was no problem with this at all. The guys were back and just topped up the bits that were needed.
We have spoken to alot of people and they are all saying this is the way to go forward in this day and age. Who doesn't want to have a warm damp free attic...??? Its warmer up there and in the long run I feel confident that we have made the right choice. I'm only speaking from our experience with Martin and the guys from the office and the guys who came and done the job. Martin was true to his word, understood our concerns and we feel a truly genuine guy.
Definitely recommend this firm.

This is now the second time I’ve had Icynene open cell insulation put in my loft and I can’t tell you how good this product is.

After recently selling my old house which added huge value to it upon selling it, I had to get it again for the house I have recently bought.

5 star product and 5 star service!

I had a a consultation with Martin last week, very knowledgeable and explained to me the difference between open cell and closed cell Insulation.

I felt no pressure from him whatsoever and decided to go ahead with the install. The team that arrived was very friendly and cleared up after themselves.

Only wanted to give 0 stars, but unable to do. Myself and my families opinion, is do not use this company. I could go on about why, but there is not enough room.
What I will state, is if you use this company and then want to sell your home. Then like us you could have a big expensive problem. I would also add that including materials it cost nearly 2000 pounds per hour.

The guys were very courteous and did a great clean and speedy job. Fantastic service. Initial consultation great and no pressure to go ahead. We think the one star review on here is very unfair. We highly recommend this company.

Martin and the team provided a highly professional service from beginning to end.

The team were super friendly, very approachable and extremely courteous throughout the whole process.

Whilst the work was only carried out 2 weeks prior to writing this review, we can already see how effective and efficient the insulation is.

I knew I was losing a lot of heat through my roof which is why my Gas bills were sky rocketing. There was an offer from the Renewable Heat Partnership for a commplimentary survey of the loft space. Martin surveyed the loft and showed me some quite daming photos, mould, moisture and some degraded membrain exposing the roof tiles. This needed to be adressed and I decided to have the foam insulation between the roof rafters down to the eaves. There was no hard sell from Martin and so I was happy to have the work done. This was carried out today by George who did an excellent job, no mess anywhere thank you George. I would highly recommend this company, excellent service, competitive prices and a guaranteed product. Thank you guys, very happy customer.

I had all my questions answered clearly. Fantastic price work was carried out quickly and efficiently. I would recommend to everyone.

Where these men had to work is an inhospitable environment. Low beams, dusty lagging, much of the area not boarded, and badly lit. The only way in is through a trap in the upstairs kitchen, a very long way from their truck on the drive. They took all that in their stride, running the hose up the stair and up into the roof space. Then they went about their business quietly and efficiently, leaving the house no worse for their visit, and the roof space efficiently and completely air proofed. The space now looks like the lair of a sci-fi creature, completely encrusted in the expanding foam, but it's noticeably warmer, and therefore no longer leaking heat into the environment. All in all an excellent job done quickly and efficiently and at a reasonable cost. Great work.
