Available in natural oak or painted white, the Colney Trundle Bed is our reinforced wooden underbed solution for dependable additional sleeping space. Crafted from durable knotless rubberwood, the Colney is engineered to complement our wooden bed frames and bunk beds, delivering consistent strength across your entire setup.
Unlike lightweight trundles that rely on thin slats or basic pine frames, the Colney features robust 28mm solid wooden slats for enhanced weight distribution and long-term durability. The hardwood frame offers stability when extended, ensuring reliable performance whether used for guests, teenagers, or regular everyday sleeping. Its low-profile design allows it to slide neatly beneath compatible bed frames while maintaining a strong and balanced support base.
Engineered Hardwood Construction
Rubberwood is selected not just for its clean oak aesthetic, but for its dense, durable properties. The reinforced slat system provides firm mattress support, reducing flex and movement during use. Built to integrate seamlessly with our wooden bed collection, including bunk beds, the Colney ensures your additional sleeping space matches the same construction standards as the main bed.
Bespoke Mattress for Precision Fit
The custom 90 x 185 cm memory foam mattress is specifically sized for the Colney trundle, creating a snug, stable fit within the frame. The mattress gently contours to the body to relieve pressure while supporting spinal alignment. Breathable, hypoallergenic materials promote airflow and comfort, making it suitable for repeated overnight use.
For homes where space efficiency matters but structural reliability is essential, the Colney delivers a reinforced wooden trundle solution built to perform.
