Great value bike for my 10yo. Chose click and collect option and bike available as advised when collected. Claims by Reid that it would be '...fully assembled by a bike mechanic and ready to ride" inaccurate as tyres not inflated properly, brakes not set up properly and front derailleur not aligned.

Could not be happier with my gorgeous peach cruiser from Reid!
I got the rear basket and my 6kg cavoodle loves riding in the back along the beach!

I had some damage done during shipping and spoke to Logan at customer service. He got back to me and got everything sorted so quickly!
I’m super grateful and would definitely recommend Reid cycles!

The bike was damaged upon unpacking. A complaint was lodged on line. The complaint process was drawn out and made me the purchaser feel like it was my fault the bike was damaged. After much too’ if and fro’ing it was finally agreed that we would accept a tin of paint and a 10% discount when the preferred option was a new undamaged bike.
The demands of the repacking process were ridiculous and lacked any empathy or understanding. Particularly as photos of the damage were submitted on line. I don’t feel like the on line process worked and it would have been preferable to speak to a customer service representative and clearly explain the issue rather than use the online format. Generally very dissatisfied with the service.

I bought 2 bikes, roller vintage and rapid road.
Unfortunately I must confess your bikes don't have value of money.
I paid 425 for vintage one, and It had about 300$ cost to Change some of parts like cassette, brake shoes, and also for true the rims.
But rims still have issues.
I'm sure you won't place my review on website 😄, but in my opinion based my experience it's better to pay for well known brands like giant or ..

I visited the Melbourne store (Queen Vic market) on Sat 4th Dec and was told by an assistant it was better to place an online order rather than via the store. I purchased two bikes online on 5th Dec as the website indicated they were in stock. I rec’d an email confirming my order but then there was no contact other than my three phone calls chasing the order. On 22nd Dec I was told “maybe first week of Jan” and then on 4th Jan I called again and was told “ no stock, maybe early Feb” for my delivery . Because I had to instigate contact and was not kept up to date and because I chose bikes that were listed as “in stock” and to have at least a two month delay - I cancelled the order. Appalling customer service and poor website management- so much for choosing to buy Australian

I'm very pleased with my purchase (online) the only trouble I had was fitting the rear mudguard, it is quite flimsy and difficult to align so the tyre doesn't hit. The bike rides great, although I haven't had much time to ride for any great distance. I would recommend Reid Cycles to my family and friends without hesitation as I believe the quality for the price is excellent.

On my 7th ride from the bike I bought from Reid Cycles the bike seat came unattached. I proceeded to ring the Nth Melbourne store when they opened, waited 20 minutes on hold to no avail. Proceeded to their website a requested a call back... twice, and again too no avail. Finally the fourth time I called and was answered by a Sam/ Paul the name is vague, due the advice he gave after explaining the situation to him, I was to take the bike seat/stem to the nearest bike shop, buy them donuts as that's how you make friends in a bike shop and they would repair it for me.
Also I was informed they only had one mechanic and were only open for click and collects. This is why I chose Reid Cycles to buy my bike as they did the assembly if you chose the click and collect option. So for a bike the assembled from their shop, using their mechanic they did not give me the time or day.

Reid cycles team made very easy to shop what I wanted even in lockdown, they answered all my questions and I got a beautiful bike. Bike has been working well and it was easy to assemble. Thank you.

Bought a bike mid 2020 and ever since then it has been a nightmare. I bought the bike and brakes were not probably installed to the point where the back break did not work. They fixed the brakes when I brought it back in. I then had an issues with the back wheel wobbling when I rode it. I brought it back in and was told it was the quick release that needed to be tightened. On the ride home the wheel was wobbling again, even though the quick release was tight. I then called back a month later after getting the bike serviced and they told me it was a 2 month wait to be serviced. So I took the bike to my local bike shop and they told me that it is a faulty part (poor quality) and nothing of my doing. I called Reid up to explain this and not only did they tell me that the fix would be at my expense because it was out of warranty even though this issue had been persisting for months but that i had till wait another 2 months before they could even look at it.

Don't shop here!

I brought the vintage ladies bike, it came with a punctured back tyre and then i was sent another tube that was the wrong size for the bike. After this i didn't even bother to contact you guys back.. The bike is lovely but the service was not helpful at all and my bike is still just sitting there with a buggered tyre...

Where is my bike!!!! I bought 2 bikes online on 15 sep.Now it is 05 Oct !You guys receive money is super fast. But shipping is so slow. Call customer number many times. Left messages no one call back. The customer number is dead. The company will be dead soon. Why people review shipping is fast . It’s cheating! You guys need leave notice online “Due to COVID and protest the delivery will be delay”But no any notice! The problem is customer number no one answer for ever! I just want money back!

The staff @ north Melb. Store advised that I can not expect much for a free service.
As the result my new bike is missing brake bolts after service.

Great communication and timely pick up/ assembly of bike. Only issue was bike height wasn’t adjusted to the owners height so when we got home it took us a while (lots of elbow grease!) to loosen it and adjust to the right height. Otherwise all went smoothly!

I ordered a tyre and tube the tyre came used second had.
I sent in my complaint and still waiting for them to get back to me.

Ordered the Ladies Deluxe Vintage bike online, it was delivered promptly in 3 work days. Instructions to assemble the bike was a bit generic and not adequate for a novice. Otherwise, it is a great bike, well-built and beautiful to ride. Thanks

Bike is excellent quality. Had the bike assembled by Reid instead of delivered as I thought this would ensure the setup was right. Had a couple of issues with the front brake adjustment and the adjustment of the gear selection mechanism on the main cog. Will give them a chance to correct this at the first service. All in all very happy with the bike.
