This company seemed legit but it is the same bait and switch tactics that these fly by night companies use. I sent them my flawless iPhone XS Max that they offered $415 for. They re-quoted it at $270 saying it had issues with the speaker and nicks/scratches. I requested it be returned but still no tracking and no response from emails or calls.
Update 12/10/2020 After posting the review above I finally got a response to the calls and emails previously sent. They again offered $300 for the phone which was well below their $415 offer. They sent it back to me and I received $400 from a different company for the same exact phone.

Thank you for the feedback. We never want to lower anyone's payment from the original quote, but it is necessary when the device is not received in the quoted condition. During testing of your device, it was found the front speaker was defective and there was heavy wear on the screen which is the reason for the significant drop. You declined the offer and we sent it back to you free of charge. We are glad you were able to receive $400 for the device. However, this also means the issue was not caught by the company who bought it and someone will receive a defective product when it is sold again. They say they will pay within 2 days
They say they will pay within 2 days. They had my phone for 5 business days before responding and that was because I emailed them. They claimed my phone nicks and scratches. No way! My phone was in an Otterbox protective casing from the day I bought it. They received the phone a week ago and now they say it's only worth half their quote. I still haven't been paid. Lame
Update: I wrote the original post 3 days ago. The company followed up requesting my order number, which I supplied the next morning. Still have NOT been paid 3 days later.
Final Update: recell.io did finally pay me and we solved the differences. They were good with responding to my inquiries.

I return my Apple iPhone 8 and got $94 for it! the most I was offered from anywhere. I read articles about how this company could be a scam but it wasn’t they did everything they said they were going to an honor the price they said they were going to give me I am 100% happy with them!

Very pleased
Very pleased! The whole process was a breeze... and emailing customer service was a breeze and I got quick replies. I mailed my phone on a Saturday, it was received Monday and money was in my PayPal account on Sunday. Definitely will be using them again! I got a very fair price for my phone also! They were very honest with their prices and very clear on what tier your phone could be appraised at.

Initially I was little hesitant to sell…
Initially I was little hesitant to sell my phone with them by seeing the few 1 star negative reviews. But after had a nice experience with them, I realized that, it's absolutely fake review.
Recell.io gave me best offer. I sent my phone to them and they acknowledged the receipt of my phone.
After inspecting it they adjusted my offer, because they thought my phone wasn't an unlocked phone.
I wrote an email to them explaining it's an unlocked phone.
They again inspected it and honored my promised sale price.
Within few days I received my payment cheque.
