I have been dealing with Rathbones, and more specifically the senior investment director Jason Hallam, over the last 2 years while I have been acting for my godparents firstly as POA and sadly then in the capacity as one of their executors. Jason and Rathbones have been very easy to deal with. They have been both extremely proactive and have dealt with all matters very promptly, making my role as POA and then as executor much easier. I have had every confidence in them throughout.

We have been dealing with Jason Hallam and Laura Atkins for over six years. We value their advice, support and expertise, but above all their ability to clearly explain, analyse and summarise investment products and strategies. It is a pleasure dealing with both Jason and Laura, and we feel in very safe hands.

All my dealings with Sam and Laura over the last 4 years have been well organised, thoughtful, pleasant and fitting for my circumstances. My late husband had always dealt with financial matters, but now I feel better informed and can confidently recommend Rathbones.

My knowledge of financial management has been minimal and in Sam Olly I have found someone I trust completely and have complete confidence in his competence and integrity. He is always accessible and answers my questions with clarity and understanding of my limits. He also listens carefully and has gained an understanding of my family dynamics and the need for planning my future and the impact of those plans on my children. My son sums him up “Mum you’re in good hands”.

Sam Olley and his team in Sheffield do a magnificent job looking after our investments. Communication is easy and replies are very prompt. We always look forward to our meetings with Sam to find out what has been happening with the markets, and discussing the best way forward to manage our finances with Rathbones (formerly Investec).
