RARA Driving School Recensioni

I honestly don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am for my driving instructor, Hamid. From day one, he believed in me sometimes even more than I believed in myself.

There were moments when I felt completely hopeless, convinced I wouldn't make it through, but Hamid never gave up on me. He kept encouraging me, pushing me gently but firmly, always reminding me that I could do it.

Hamid is not just a brilliant instructor; he’s genuinely one of the kindest, most supportive people I’ve ever met. Over time, our lessons felt less like formal training and more like driving with a trusted friend who truly cared about my progress. He’s incredibly professional and unbelievably knowledgeable he understands not just how to teach driving, but how to teach you, personally. He knows how to reflect on what’s been taught, how it's affecting your performance, and how to adapt his methods to help you improve. He genuinely wants you to become a safe, confident driver, and he’ll do whatever it takes to get you there.

I also want to mention Ahmed, another instructor from the same school, who is equally a gem of a person. He kindly offered to do mock tests with me to help prepare for the real thing and give me a proper feel for how the actual test would go. His help and encouragement made a massive difference in my confidence and performance.

If you’re looking for a trusted, professional, and genuinely caring driving school this is the place. And if you’re lucky enough to get Hamid or Ahmed as your instructor, you are in the safest, most capable hands imaginable.

I will always be grateful for every lesson and for the sincere friendship that Hamid offered along the way. It’s extremely rare to find someone like him someone who not only teaches you how to drive but helps you believe in yourself again. Thank you, Hamid, from the bottom of my heart.

I honestly cannot thank Afzal Ahmed from RARA Driving School enough for helping me pass my driving test on my very first attempt! From my very first lesson, Afzal stood out as a calm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable instructor who genuinely cares about his students’ progress and confidence.

What makes Afzal different from so many other instructors is his ability to adapt his teaching style to suit you personally. He always made sure I understood why I was doing something, not just how, which gave me so much more confidence behind the wheel. He has a brilliant way of explaining things that makes even the most complicated manoeuvres feel manageable. Parallel parking and reversing around corners, which I used to dread, soon became second nature thanks to his clear and supportive guidance.

Afzal was always punctual, professional, and made every lesson feel productive. He kept a calm, positive atmosphere in the car at all times—even when I made mistakes. He never once raised his voice or made me feel bad; instead, he used each moment as a learning opportunity. That kind of encouragement made a massive difference to my confidence, especially in the early stages of learning.

His knowledge of the test routes and local areas was also a huge help. We practised on a variety of roads, including dual carriageways, roundabouts, residential areas, and tricky junctions. By the time my test came around, I felt fully prepared for anything. Afzal had taught me not just how to pass the test, but how to be a safe, responsible, and confident driver for life.

One thing I also appreciated was how honest and transparent he was throughout my learning. He never tried to stretch out lessons unnecessarily. When he knew I was ready, he told me—and he was absolutely right. Thanks to him, I passed first time and feel genuinely comfortable driving on my own now.

If you’re looking for a driving instructor who is professional, supportive, skilled, and truly passionate about what they do, I can’t recommend Afzal Ahmed enough. Choosing him was one of the best decisions I made, and I’m so grateful for his time, patience, and commitment.

Thank you so much, Afzal Ahmed

I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience with Afzal Ahmed from RARA Driving School, who played an instrumental role in helping me pass my driving test on the first attempt. From day one, Afzal demonstrated exceptional professionalism, patience, and expertise, ensuring that I learned every essential driving skill according to DVSA Driving Essential Skills.

Comprehensive Syllabus Coverage

Afzal meticulously covered the entire DVSA driving syllabus, ensuring that I had a deep understanding of every aspect of driving. He started with the cockpit drill (DSSSM) – Door, Seat, Steering, Seatbelt, Mirrors, making sure I developed a solid foundation before moving on to more complex driving maneuvers. He explained the importance of each step, ensuring that safety and control were always a priority.

He taught me the Prepare, Observe, Move (POM) routine, ensuring I had the confidence to move off safely in different road conditions. Additionally, he emphasized the Mirror-Signal-Manoeuvre (MSM) routine and the MSPSL (Mirror, Signal, Position, Speed, Look) road procedure, which became second nature to me through his structured lessons and practical applications.

Expert Training on Junctions, Roundabouts & Road Procedures

Afzal worked tirelessly on my approach to left and right turns, minor-to-main and main-to-minor road transitions, T-junctions, crossroads, and roundabouts. He provided clear and structured guidance on how to approach junctions, emerge safely, and handle different types of roundabouts. He ensured that I mastered lane discipline, correct positioning, and proper observation techniques, which were crucial in my test.

One of the most incredible aspects of his training was his insistence on taking me on actual test routes. Just one hour before my exam, he took me through the same four roundabouts that I later encountered in my test. This strategic approach made me feel incredibly confident and well-prepared, as I knew exactly what to expect. I was honestly amazed when I saw those same roundabouts in my exam, and I handled them flawlessly, just as we had practiced!

Mock Tests & Test Readiness

Afzal didn’t just teach me how to drive; he ensured I was fully test-ready. He conducted realistic mock tests, simulating actual exam conditions to assess my strengths and weaknesses. His feedback was always constructive, helping me refine my skills and eliminate any bad habits. By the time my test day arrived, I felt confident, prepared, and completely capable of passing.

Dedication & Personalized Approach

What sets Afzal apart is his dedication and commitment to his students. He customized my lessons to focus on areas where I needed improvement, ensuring I was completely confident in every aspect of driving. His calm demeanor, encouragement, and patience made learning a stress-free experience. Even during challenging moments, he reassured me, boosting my confidence and ensuring I stayed focused.

Final Thoughts

Thanks to Afzal Ahmed and RARA Driving School, I passed my driving test on my first attempt. His structured teaching methods, expert knowledge, and dedication to student success are truly commendable. I highly recommend Afzal to anyone looking for an experienced, patient, and knowledgeable driving instructor.
