Rainbow International is a franchise

Rainbow International is a franchise. Like all franchise's, management/ownership varies, as does customer service. So if you are looking for reviews, this is not the best platform as to come to a conclusion. Our General Manger has impeccable references from Homeowners, Insurance Industry Professionals as well as commercial. Please reach out to the individual franchise in your area to look for a review and remembered someone can write whatever they like, true or otherwise. Ask for references.

Beware if you are looking for outstanding work from Rainbow Int'l of Lewisville

Rainbow Int'l of Lewisville is not the answer! One painter used latex paint over enamel in the master closet and master bathroom, which created a very big problem for the carpet layers who came in and brought it to my attention that no matter how careful they were it was scuffed and peeling. That's when I looked at the paint cans and realized why it was peeling, they had used the wrong paint. In another bathroom, the same painter failed to remove fixtures or tape off the cabinet & tile areas before painting the walls, so there was paint all over the tile trim, cabinet, fixtures, ceiling and accessories. He came back to take the fixtures off to paint behind them, but didn't wait for the paint to dry before reinstalling the fixtures. He also did not clean up areas where paint was on the items. The cabinet maker is very good if he is completely starting from scratch, but not when restoring partial cabinets that must go in flush with undamaged ones. Both of his cabinets were longer than the original ones, which caused the new ones to overshoot the space provided and his attempt to rectify the problem created more problems. The manager informed me that I was too picky on such an old house, and on one occasion said that I was old & getting senile & on another, that I must dislike Latinos. Number one, I am not getting senile yet and have pictures to prove what I was telling him, and number two, my grandchildren are 1/2 Hispanic, not Latino and neither is he or his workers. This is just a sampling of what went wrong on my job.

Worthless

Water leaks. Broken tile. Bad flooring that needs to be all redone. Made to move back into an incomplete project that’s still not done. The crook put a mechanics lien on my home because he hasn’t been paid for an incomplete project. His illegals that put the roof on thought it would be good idea to shovel shingles onto the boat in the middle of winter and then jump on top of it and broom them off, destroyed tarp. Closet doors. Electrical problems. I don’t have enough time for the rest. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. He’s a crook.

Customers services awful

Customers services awful. Asked for quote was told would receive next couple days. A week later still nothing . When I phoned and queried no apology nothing. Will take my business elsewhere. I think they could really muck you around didn’t like their attitude.

Rainbow Thomas Lucas,the Branch Manager …

Thomas Lucas,the Branch Manager that supervised the work that has to be done when my house has damaged by a candle fire.Thomas and all the crew did an excellent wonderful job in cleaning my house.My air condition were super clean,the cleaning staff made my house a brand new look.I was fully satiesfied of all the work ,the carpet looks brand new,all the walls in my house looks good,With the supervision of Thomas Lucas ,a proffessional,honest polite respectful hard working manager.THOMAS DESREVE A RECOGNITION.HE IS A BIG ASSETS AT RAINBOW INTERNATIONAL RESTORATION.HE DESERVE TO BE RECOGNIZED.Thomas thank you for all your excellent work at my house at Spring Texas.Job Well Done!!!!

If I could leave a no star I would

If I could leave a no star I would. These guys are a joke and worse customer service ever. We've been trying to work with them for the past 2 months and they seem to just jerk us around. Our insurance company isn't happy either with their lack of effort and business practice. Don't use them!!

Fantastic service

Today after fire damage, Courtney and James arrived to complete the job started on Wednesday, they were thorough, courteous and sympathetic regarding our loss, even raking and hovering the grass that had broken glass in it, so a BIG thanks to Rainbow International Restorations, Brackley branch 5 stars and can't recommend them enough

Excellent cleaning staff. Supervisory staff responded within 2 hours of my request (at 8am Monday morning) and had a crew of 4 ladies at my house by 8pm that night.

RAINBOW INTERNATIONAL..SUCKS. They were unprofessional, rude this company is one that the insurance company sent to my house, if I had picked my own company it wouldn't have been this company. My floors are still wet the padding under the carpet is soaked with water. RAINBOW INTERNATIONAL SMITH STATION AL.THESE GUYS SUCK THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PROPERTY

Rainbow of Washington MO is Awesome

Rainbow out of Washington Missouri did an awesome job on my mom's condo carpet. Justin and Jared were both professional and friendly. Mom's carpets are old and were heavily stained in some area's. The carpets came out better than I expected. The price was reasonable as well. I have used Rainbow for years on my area rugs and they always came out great. Thank you Washington Rainbow!

The guys from Rainbow were very nice

THIS IS RAINBOW IN EAST TILBURY ESSEX

The guys from Rainbow were very nice, some were absolutely lovely, Steve, Ben & Dave in particular, and Kelly and all the other staff, but we had a lost mirror, which had sentimental value, a cracked lamp which was lovely but we can't replace now and an idiot in charge who couldn't find our leak, despite everyone else knowing exactly where it was. It caused more trouble and kept us out of our home for probably months more than was necessary because of this one person. As said, the rest were lovely and did a great job.

Update 6th February 2023 - Had our new furniture delivered this weekend and at last could open the 13 boxes of the things which came out of our old water damaged dining units, which were ok, after almost a year. Rainbow had bubble wrapped everything beautifully, with nothing broken. 5 Stars to them.

Rainbow International out of Parker

Rainbow International out of Parker, CO did a great job for us. The personel were hardworking, honest and good people to work with. We had water damage from a burst pipe and they took all proper steps to dry out the area and provided the proper information to our insurance company. Many thanks.

total incompetence and untruths

I was introduced to this company following a flooding at my 16 century farmhouse and never in my life, have a dealt with a company, whose communication skills have been less than truthful, and whose promises have not been fulfilled. They assured me that my treasured 120 year old rug would be cleaned and well cared for when they removed it, after leaving us with no carpets or flooring and bare floorboards for 10 weeks. now after promising for its return on 5 separate occasions, it has suddenly been lost and I am told, it will not be returned. it has been handed down through 4 generations and it is the only thing I possessed of my mother who died at 36 , and now it is lost. This is awful and I get nothing, no apology nothing at all . Please do not trust this company with valued possessions.

With regards the Norwich Branch

With regards the Norwich Branch. Rarely have I had to deal with such an incompetent company all round. The insurance company got them to call me with regards to a sewage leak that needed clearance. It took them a long time to get round to ringing and the staff member was unhelpful with regards to the timings of when they could come.
The guys arrived a few days after (so I had cleaned most of it before they arrived). They were made aware that someone was coming to sanitise after. (her attitude made me realise they weren't a company I would want to deal with myself). But they only managed to lift half of the lino as they didn't have the right equipment with them to lift it. (Although the little chunks they left were easily lifted by the foot of the guy who came to sanitise.) One week later they have just completed the task but not left in any condition to have the new flooring put down at all.
Even our insurance company are appalled by the service from the Norwich branch they had only used other branches before

It took over a year to fix my townhouse…

It took over a year to fix my townhouse after a flood. The quality was so poor they had to redo things multiple times & some things never got done right. They took so long I had to do a lot of the work myself. Then it took them 336 days to get the insurance company the closing invoice so I could get the money they owed me & be done with them.

Took advantage of a young family. Very cross with Mr. Crossfield

The team that helped me recover my property from a fire were amazing, they are the reason this review is a two star, the issues came when involving management due to lost items.
Emails directly from Wayne Crossfield (owner) regarding the missing items from the inventory were followed by excuses of furloughed staff and their 3rd party having issues disregarding the fact that Rainbow had continued working all throughout lockdowns and very active on media. Eventually he ignored any incoming emails from me asking for a resolution to the issue and nearly a year later we are no closer to seeing either our missing items or any type of compensation.
