Avoid Quick Rent Albania at all costs
AVOID QUICK RENT ALBANIA — NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
We had a terrible experience with Quick Rent Albania. We booked an Audi A4 but were given a Ford Kuga instead. Said car was supplied to us with less than 1/4 fuel in the tank, an illuminated engine check light, airbag light, a passenger airbag that was obviously cut from the dashboard, a nonfunctioning rear park distance control and performance so poor we lost speed going uphill going full throttle.
During our drive the tie rod end broke, due to inadequate maintenance. The replacement vehicle (which was supplied after hours of lies), was not the Audi we originally booked, but a Ford C-Max, with tyres so dangerously undriveable. One tyre 9 years old, one tyre with so much dry rot and cracks in the sidewall, air was leaking from it. The air pressure was so low, due to the dry rot, that I could physically depress the tyre from the rim.
We were eventually left stranded in Himarë, with no safe replacement car or help getting back to Tirana, as Quick Rent Albania refused to help us, even hanging up the phone, after we respectfully told them about the problems with the C-Max. We had to pay €217.83 for a taxi ourselves, while Quick Rent Albania stopped responding.
Despite a formal complaint, we have received no response or refund. Our €100 deposit remains unpaid, and the agreed discount was never refunded. Quick Rent Albania claims we caused the damage ourselves, without any evidence, clearly breaking the terms and conditions.
Unsafe vehicles, no customer support, and no accountability. Based on our experience, we strongly advise others to stay away. We would never use this company again.
