Very enjoyable experience. Boat was very nice. Very clean. Staff was very professional and extremely responsive. Food was very good and plentiful. The naturalist were very informative and helpful. Not a big deal, but better internet service would have been preferred.

After a COVID delay we finally got to the Evolution. The yacht is spacious and fun to be aboard. The Galapagos was everything we expected with wildlife and activities. The staff and guides were first rate.

The trip with Quasar was amazing. They covered every detail and thought of everything to make the trip fun and memorable!

Given what we had read about QUAZAR, its reviews and ratings, and what we had heard on the Amateur Traveler podcast, my wife and I had very high expectations, and they were all exceeded to a degree we could not have anticipated. The extraordinary staff and level of service, the genuine (you can’t fake that!) smiles of the staff who greeted us, by name, at every turn, the personal service by the chef and the four-course meals (which had us all taking photos of our food and asking for recipes), the invisible room service that tidied up, did towel origami, and turned back our bed, the simple elegance or the beautiful Grace, and the absolutely incredible naturalists who saw the wonders of the Galapagos with new eyes every day with us - all were well beyond any reasonable expectations of excellence. We may never be lucky enough to return to the Galapagos (we DID do two weeks - both East and West - this time), but if we should return, we would not consider using anyone but QUAZAR, and would not stay anywhere but the Grace. It was worth every penny.

My cruise on the Evolution was truly the trip of a lifetime. While the true star of the show was the indescribably beautiful Galapagos and the wildlife, Quasar really made the experience special. While it was a small ship experience (an absolute must for the Galapagos), it felt like you had the amenities of a small town--5-star dining, housekeeping, medical, naturalist guides, bridge crew, etc. Not only was everybody so helpful, they were a delight to interact with. The naturalist guides were simply the best of the best--super-knowledgeable and very personable. I learned a lot and felt like I got individual attention from all the staff.

The staff on land was just as great. From the time of booking, Quasar helped me figure out what kind of trip I wanted and were able to arrange not just the cruise, but also mainland excursions. Their drivers, tour guides, and airport helpers really gave me the opportunity to focus on having a wonderful time in Ecuador and spend less time on worrying about my trip.

Do yourself a favor and invest in your Galapagos experience and go with Quasar. When I go back, you better believe I'll be going back with Quasar.

Absolutely fantastic trip from start to finish! We were on The Grace for two weeks in the Galapagos, followed by 5 days in the Amazon headwaters and 10 days on the mainland. Quasar Expeditions arranged the entire trip, and we were very pleased. From the activities, to the guides / staff, to the food (especially on The Grace), to the locations and accommodations - we were delighted at every turn. Thank you QE for delivering a wonderful experience!

Facilitating the logistics of where to go in the Quito airport before we flew to the Galapagos was a HUGE plus, since we were traveling 7 other couples. We were greeted promptly on Baltra, and luggage was handled seamlessly. The ship was everything we'd hoped for. With only 32 passengers, we got to know everyone. There were ample community spaces aboard, many shaded from the sun. The daily schedule was posted at three locations, and the briefings the day before and during the day were so helpful -- we knew what to wear and what to expect. Great variety of menu items, at meals and for snacks. The crew was energetic, knowledgeable, and helpful. Snorkeling was always an adventure -- something new to experience every day ... the only drawback is that sometimes it felt like a "mob scene" when a manta ray, shark, or other underwater creature was spotted. The naturalists were truly top-notch -- they are passionate about the flora, fauna, geology, and geography of the Galapagos. Bonus -- a constellation "lesson" one starry night on the open deck! I would have liked to do some brief souvenir shopping in Puerto Ayora, but I presume covid restrictions were to blame for that. Great schedule -- time for siesta in between excursions. Love that we had small groups. Great memories to last a lifetime!

Loved this overall experience! The ship, food and our stateroom were great! The staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. All the activities and exploring with the naturalist were great and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend this ship and staff. The only issue we had were several people on the ship came down with travelers diarrhea. I am assuming it was from the wonderful food they were serving us. Fortunately there was a doctor on board to help with medication.

This was an excellent trip. It exceeded my expectations for the cruise and the crew. I would highly recommended this organization for any trip and would use them again in the near future.

Our trip to the Galapagos with Quasar on the Evolution was nothing short of extraordinary! The guides were wonderful with our kids, the wildlife did not disappoint, and I was a lot more active than I expected to be on a cruise. Thank you for the memories!

Our experience on the Quasar Evolution was just fantastic! - one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had. All logistics, from tour in Quito, transit to the Galapagos, and everything onboard was simply perfect. The experiences on each tour and island were just amazing. Special shoutouts to Diane for all the booking and planning, Steve our restaurant and facility manager onboard, our bartender Cesar, and our guides Monica, Cornelia and Alex. It was a fantastic experience all around.

We had a fabulous experience aboard The Grace and on each and every location we hiked, toured, kayaked or swam! The Galapagos provides the magic, enhanced only by the passion, knowledge and professionalism of the wonderful naturalist guides, Monica and Cordelia.

Quasar was a wonderful group to work with. They guided us from the beginning to end. Meeting us at the airport and explaining ever step in a multi-step journey. We would use them again.

Probably the best vacation we’ve ever had! The boat (Evolution) was lovely, crew and naturalists so helpful and informative, snorkeling and hiking unbelievable, food delicious. Nothing could have made it better. Thank you!

Quasar set up a "trip-of-a-lifetime" adventure to Ecuador for us. It was fantastic!

From the moment we landed in Quito until we flew out the following week, I felt safe, efficiently directed, escorted and educated. Our ship crew was outstanding. Informative, friendly, always available to answer questions and very personable. Never an uncomfortable moment. The vacation of a lifetime.

Quasar trips are well organized and well run. Attention is paid to the details. The staffing was excellent. I would definitely go on another trip run by quasar

We went with Quasar on the Grace May 2021. A lot of folks probably are thinking it's a crazy time to go now due to covid, but I wouldn't hesitate. We did have to get a PCR test before flying out to Galapagos from Quito but Quasar arranged it all for us and we just hung out at the nicest resort called Hacienda Jimenita near the airport. Even that part was fantastic.
The Grace is such a classy, timeless yacht. The entire crew went above and beyond. We went with 2 friends and came away with a dozen new ones as everyone was so nice and fun. We mingled at meals with everyone, which I would recommend. Our guides were Roberto and Walter. Both were truely gifted with all the knowledge you could ask for about the flora, fauna, geology etc, and they were fun and personable. I doubt that there are better ones in Galapagos
We swam with little friendly playful sea lions, had shark feeding frenzies by the boat at night during dinner a couple times, ran the boat with a huge pod of dolphins, saw giant tortoises, sea turtles, marine iguanas, land iguanas, lava lizards, birds like Darwin finches, mating Frigates, Albatroses, blue footed boobies, red footed boobies, Nasca boobies. Half of the plants and animals you see are endemic to the area, found no where else.
Just amazing. There were 3 adventures a day. Always a snorkel, often a hike, some kayaking and some zodiac shore tours. It is like nothing else to go there and the Grace is the best way to do it. Just go. It's a trip of a lifetime.

From the very first contact with Quasar to explore my Galapagos adventure, it was nothing but a 5 star experience. Highly recommended!
