Real Liars and Unprofessional. They confirmed for 20% discount by mail in 2023 and in 2025 they cannot find it! So now I have to book online with others. Cheap management

Stayed 190917 - 220917, total disaster!
As I was travelling with another male friend, 2 guys, I purposely booked, 3 months in advance, for two single beds. We were given a family room, one double and a teen bed! There were streaks of black dirty grouting on the shower tiles. Final straw was when we were rushing out for a dinner appointment, LUCKILY, due to habit, after closing the room door, I always check its locked BUT it wasn't! Lock doed NOT work! Called reception, promise maintenance will attend, 15 minutes waiting, no one. Went down to lobby, complained, finally, duty manager and two workmen was replacing the electronic lock on our room door at 1935hrs.
We were offered another room on return from a spoilt dinner appointment. After manager had left, realised there's a door to the next room, except this adjoining door has the other handle for the adjoining room removed and the opening mechanism capped with a simple round plate which came apart and dropped to the ground. A simple nose plier would have turned the spindle mechanism inside and accessed our room!
When I pointed this out to the poor duty manager, he said its "not that easy" ! So the security of my laptop and all my belongings hinges on a "not easy" to overcome lock-less door!
By this time, it was approaching midnight, we moved AGAIN to another room, which was nice and big but the manager kept forewarning us that due to the room having s balcony, the aircond might not be cold! I didn't realised a 5* hotel have not managed to installed an air conditioning unit appropriate to a room with a balcony?? My apartment in Penang has a balcony AND a superbly functional aircond!
Anyway by then, we were simply too tired and annoyed to argue.
Finally got into bed and pulled open the drawer of the bedside unit between the two beds, the drawer dropped off its righthand hinge! Got out of bed, wiggled it back in as my room mate was killing himself with laughter by then as I was fuming!
Fawlty towers, eat your heart out, Malaysia definitely boleh! i.e have a hotel that supercedes FT ...
