The moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles, making us feel right at home. The facility itself is immaculate, with a welcoming atmosphere that puts both pets and their owners at ease. I was impressed by how they took the time to understand my dog's specific grooming needs. They asked about his behavior, coat type, and any previous grooming experiences. After the grooming session, my dog looked absolutely fabulous! The attention to detail was evident; his coat was shiny and beautifully styled. I also appreciated the fact that they use high-quality, pet-friendly products.

I took my 8 month old kind and cute cocker spaniel at the Notting Hill branch for a 2nd follow-up grooming. Collected him with severe ear trauma where another dog had bitten him all but through the ear! On 2 places. Major Vet bill, major infection. The salon (Olivia) were very kind in offering to be the middle person between me and the other dog's owner who allegedly agreed to pay the bill. A week on and there is no money in my bank account. Also, the salon charged me full price for the groom, something I am still shocked about! Surely certain responsibility falls on them as well? To keep dogs separated, to give a complimentary visit if during this visit the dog was severely injured?!? This makes me conclude that they are all about the money and little about the pets we so much adore and cherish. I doubt I will be back.

Our Golden Retriever Hermes looks amazing!! Thank you guys you did an amazing job with him. He enjoyed it and he looks awesome clean and tidy and happy 😃.. Billy you and you team are very good can’t wait to bring Hermes back again! 💖

If I could give 0 stars I would. Severely clipped my dog's nails causing her to bleed all over the carpets and sofa. I didn't realise until we got home and noticed blood spots all over the carpet. I called straight away to tell them what happened and some rude female assistant tells me to 'take her to the vet if necessary' and 'it happens all the time'. I've had my two dogs for 6 years, they get groomed every 2 months and I have NEVER had this experience with other groomers. Clearly no customer care training or grooming training is being provided to new staff. Completely incompetent, rude, inexperienced and untrained. No apology was given or responsibility taken for the fact that they did this to my dog. This place has gone downhill and I am utterly shocked and appalled with the service. I am NEVER taking my dogs back to this place. Now watching my poor dog lick her paws after having to clean the blood off my carpet and sofa. If I could post pictures of her bleeding paws on Trustpilot I would. AVOID.

Billy, the groomer, gave the best cut I have ever seen on my dog. He looks beautiful, much younger, and obviously had a great time at the salon

I took my Pomeranian back to see Billy after 6 weeks and he did an amazing job again. She is constantly complimented on how pretty she looks . Thanks Billy

Excellent products, prompt delivery and packaged well.

Bought the oatmeal shampoo now a few times as it’s a must have for our dog. Such a wonderful product for sensitive skin, leaves the doodles curls so clean, soft and incredibly shiny. The bottles arrived well packaged, no leaks. Price is good as a little goes a long way so last a long time.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Purple Bone. I have been taking my toy poodle here for several years and in my last appointment, I was appalled at the poor customer service I received, as well as the aggressive behaviour and attitude of the staff. I certainly did not feel safe leaving my dog with them and will never again return.

This groomer is more interested in making a ‘quick buck’ than looking after my dog – not to mention, nurturing the relationship with a long-standing customer. I expect a lot more from a high-end groomer.

An incredibly rude stylist handled my dog carelessly and accused me of not looking after her properly, because she was matted. She then began brushing my dog’s coat aggressively in an attempt to demonstrate that she is better off shaving the dog completely. She made her squeal and weep countless times. I was horrified and had to urge her to stop. If the groomer is willing to inflict this kind of cruelty on my dog in front of me, what is she willing to do when I leave the shop, with my beloved dog in her hands?!

The manager turned a blind eye on the rudeness of the stylist and even defended her! Their approach to grooming is – shaving it all off is much quicker, easier and means they can cram in an extra appointment…!

I was reduced to tears but neither the manager nor the stylist cared to apologise, take accountability, or show any remorse or sympathy. I had no choice but to leave the shop, completely and utterly distraught. These people claim to be animal lovers but look how they treated a human being and her innocent dog – INHUMANE! The only thing they really care about is taking advantage of their customers and their dogs to make a profit. How shameful!

I have completely lost my faith in Purple Bone. I have since taken my dog to another groomer, who was delightful and did a wonderful job. No harm whatsoever was caused to the dog – I sat there and watched the entire groom to ensure she was being handled with care. The groomer brushed her coat effortlessly and gently worked through any tangles. It really proved how deceitful Purple Bone are.

To all dog owners out there – PLEASE BEWARE of this shop! If you love your dog, you will NOT take them here!

My 8lb Maltese was given to them for a scheduled ultrasonic cleaning, but not only did they not clean his teeth, saying he didn't cooperate, they still charged me 25 pounds.
I wish the story ended there. He was in agonizing pain by the evening, and he suddenly had a left back "drop leg", where he could not bear any weight on it and had to drag it along for a minute to pee.
Honestly, broke my heart to see him in pain, even though nothing like this had ever happened in his 13 years of life :(
I took him to Medi-Vet on Gloucester Road after a sleep-ness night of him panting in pain, and they told me he had trauma to his back, causing nerve damage and/or a possible slipped disc!!!
It's been nearly 2 weeks since that day, and though he still drags his paw, he bears weight on that left back leg for just a few seconds.

We don't know if this damage is permanent causing him to be disabled :((

They must've either put pressure on his back to hold him down or dropped him front their grooming tables ... they'll of course never say!

Billy groomed my very matted Tibetan Terrier yesterday and did a fantastic job. She came back beautifully washed, trimmed and smelling lovely. The experience seemed quite pleasant for her, and she was in and out in under 2 hours! Thank you Purple Bone!

Feel like I'm finally out of an abusive relationship. Used them quite a bit - they would just shave my dog and when I would complain they would tell me he was very matted which just didn't seem true to me. They also cut the nails too short and he bled, another time they didn't cut his nails at all so he was practically skidding on them a week later. Due to allergies for a period I had to go ever 3/4 weeks for a full groom - the wouldn't give even a penny off their £75 groom for that frequency. They often would do no grooming or styling at all just shave him even when he was long enough. Went to a new place - amazing - they did a nice normal cut, actually groomed detail and shaped and dog didn't feel traumatised. Should have left earlier.

Billy did a great job, my Pomeranian never looked better! His coat was so fluffy and smelt beautifully-it was like we got a new dog. We were super happy and are definitely coming back.

The people at Purple Bone were brilliant! Our little puppy had her first ever puppy groom and she came out looking like a transformed pup! They did a beautiful job, she got loads of treats (which she appreciated) and the staff were so lovely, welcoming and reassuring! Sending our little one back for her 2nd groom soon!

We've always had a nice experience here. The staff are friendly and very gentle with my pup. I've been a little concerned reading some of the other reviews here and would very much like to be reassured that the groomers are always of the highest quality. Personally though we've had very good experiences.

The most reliable pet grooming, my dog Leyla has some back legs problems and it can be really problematic to groom her, however she always come out as a complete different puppy, we always have an amazing experience

I have brought my dog in 5+ times. Every time I drop him off the staff is very nice and welcoming. They are able to get out knots without shaving. My dog was so happy after :).
I have tried both Nottinghill locations. I think Nottinghill gate is better than hill gate. At hillgate, my dog had razor burns between his paws on every paw. However, that has only happened once and the groom/groomers are amazing overall.
I would recommend Purplebone to everyone it is amazing

This is without doubt the Best Dog Groomers in the Notting Hill area.
I have tried most of them with really patchy results.
At Purple Bone I have always found the staff caring and kind and the results truly magnificent!

Items ordred online, got damaged durig transport. Respons on my email was quick and new shipment was sent ASAP.
