From start to finish absolutely brilliant. From popping into the office to arrange a visit for estimate, the home visit, the advice the information to packing and the day of moving all thoroughly professional and friendly. Couldn’t ask for better. This was the third time of using Purdies and I’ll recommend to anyone looking for a great service.

Very professional, helpful and did all they could to make the house move easy.
After 38 years in the family home and mum leaving without dad at her side it was an emotional time, Stuart and his team were very understanding and went out of their way to help and make the move as straightforward and stress free as possible.
They kept in touch with us all day and we're great putting all the furniture in the right rooms in the new house, making it easier for us to start unpacking.
We can't thank you all enough for helping make an emotional day stressfree and bringing some laughs into it also.

Purdie have professional and experienced staff,moving.home is a stressful time, however Purdie made our move that bit easier, we had a riser/recliner chair that had broken down due to this it could not be moved. Purdie agreed to come back and pick up the chair after it was fixed

I used Purdies services the last time I moved house 10 years ago) and came straight back to them again this time without even considering anyone else. This is because they are very friendly, take care of the old and new house and don’t damage a single thing. They were very careful to look after my stuff when moving it and didn’t even scuff a tiny part of any wall, paintwork or door.

Overall, they provide a highly professional and well-organised service. They turned up when they promised and charged a reasonable price. Thank you very much again.

Great service from the lads at Purdie. My parents had used the company in the past, however after getting three quotes, we decided they offered the best package, including late key insurance. We were moving a fairly large amount of furniture and stuff to a larger house we bought. The service was first class , with an attitude of care towards the items moved. The staff were prompt, professional and good banter too! Highly recommended

From initial contact enquiry by phone to the personal home visit to assess and provide a quotation for my removal was speedy and competitive. On moving day the operatives took care with my belongings loading and moving to my new property. Purdies offer a competitive and very professional service

Gemma from Purdie Worldwide was excellent and did their utmost to ensure that my hand was held throughout the entire process. Not only did Gemma keep in contact throughout the removal and delivery, but they made sure that I did not feel that I was bothering them with silly questions. I was not able to be there to pack up my own things, but I know from my parents that the team who arrived to pack up my house did a great job. They were swift and professional!

Arrived at stated time both removal men were very polite and friendly and very efficient in the way of undertaking the removal of furniture and boxes and depositing at new property. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending both of these employees of purdies.

We've used Purdie for every move since 2006 and have never been disappointed. From the original contact to quote the job to the move itself, everything was friendly, professional and efficient. The best possible price was given, the guys on the moving days were great, everything ran smoothly and all our possessions finished up where they should be and in the same condition as when they left the old property. Yes, we could do it cheaper doing it ourselves or with another company, but we've come to trust Purdie; it's hard to put a price on that peace of mind at one of the most stressful times in life. Absolutely would not hesitate to recommend them.

Due to issues outwith our control, we had to cancel our move booked with Purdies. Our email was sent 4 hours after the cutoff more than 10 working days as we found out late in the day there was an issue. No flexibility and no common sense applied when it has had absolutely no impact on them being able to re-book that slot with another customer. Charging us a full 30% to cancel. Nice way to make money for nothing.

My point is your t&cs state no more than 30% will be applied. I understand applying 30% on day 5 makes sense as I can imagine that is harder to fill the slot but to apply the full 30% when I notified you on working day 11 is ridiculous.

First class service once again. We have now used the Purdie team for a 2nd house move and as always they were fantastic. It makes the moving process so much smoother and a lot less stressful. I highly recommend the team if you are looking to move house. Worth every penny in our eyes!
